There is no communication between the teachers and Parents, as a particular that doesn’t make me feel like my child is safe or cared for.

I have had 2 kids at this school over the past three years and every year just gets worse and worse. School year always starts out great and I try to be positive but like clockwork, about two to three months in there is a complete 180. Teachers don't communicate and if they do, it is short, snide remarks to an email about all the things your kid did wrong. One teacher got in my son's face YELLING at him because his foot went off of the sidewalk when they were walking back into the school from outside. Another time, he asked his teacher to please get another student to be quiet that kept calling his stupid and talking over her, but instead, she told him to stop being annoying and just sit there and listen. I've heard many times from one of my kids that there is one student that continuously acts out and has thrown chairs, knocked over desks and even threatened the teacher but they were just sent to the office for the rest of the afternoon and returned the next day - that happens almost daily. My other kid told me that she got bullied quite a bit when she was there in 6th grade and the boys that bullied her never had anything done, even when she would tell her teachers about things going on. My bigger issues are with the teachers in the younger classes though. There seems to be a 'believe the adult, not the kid' mentality going on there, so my son does not feel safe. I have had actual Central employees tell me themselves how terrible the school is and how it's just gotten worse over the past years.

Currently looking for other schools because I definitely do not want my kid returning to this place next year. I highly recommend keeping your kids out of the Central schools if at all possible.

The school is very clean, and runs pretty smooth.
Teachers are equipped with knowledge to help children be successful at learning. However the no bully policy is a JOKE. I have had two of my children bullied. My oldest was punished for defending himself and my daughter now has to be home schooled. But the teachers are still great and try mostly without results. Kids who bully are a product of their surroundings and school staff can only do so much.

I have a daughter attending preschool here and she absolutly loves it. She loves both her teacher and the assistant. She tells me about what happens everyday and they seem like very kind and caring indivuduals. The year is not even over yet, but I know my daughter is more than ready for kindergarten. She knows her numbers, the letters and their sounds, is reading some, and can write her name and all the letters beautifully. She usually gets a little bit of homework everyday but it is fun for her.

I was not impressed by this school. I found the teachers to be rude to my children & to me. ONE example is my son had drop his ruler on the floor with out realizing it. Another kid had found it and went to take it to him, because although it didnt have his name on it; he was the only one in the class that had a wooden ruler. The teacher procided to agrue with my and the other class mate and tell them that since there was no name on the rule he couldnt prove it was his, even though is the other one in class now that doesnt have one. She made them put it in a little girls desk that hadnt been there for 5 months and said that it beloged to the that girl. first of all what is a girls stuff doing there after 5 months aways And 2nd of all even after we(mom& dad) called her she stated that WELL IF ITS GOING TO BE A PROBLEM THAN ILL JUST GIVE HIM ONE OF MINE. like we were in the wrong for wanting our son to have the school supplies, that he has had all year and that we paid for. The Principal on the other hand was wonderful, there was a problem on the bus with my children getting bullied, we brought it up to her and from that day forward we didnt not have ANY MORE promblems with that.
