All three of my children went through the Hatboro Horsham school system. They all had great experiences from grammar school through high school. All my kids maintained a B or above average, and I would give the school district's teachers a lot of credit for helping us ensure this happened. All three of my children are leading very successful lives now, and I believe the school district helped us develop our children into the fine young adults they are today. My kids liked their teachers and school so. Much that they continue to go back after graduating to talk to the kids about their experiences and how they can achieve success also.

Generally terrible. Low income students are noticeably left behind. With no real way to get into extra curriculars (as the school does not waive fees or provide equipment) and no one to advocate for them, low income students are more likely to become involved with drugs.
The upper middle class kids were treated like kings and queens. Receiving a slap on the wrist for getting caught with alcohol at prom, whereas a low income student was caught high at the same prom, no substance on him, and was threatened to not be allowed to graduate.
As a low income student who despite that, performed well, I believe I was generally overlooked. I went kindergarten to senior year in the HH district and my mental health was largely ignored. Now as a 20 year old I am trying to recuperate my losses and play catch up as I am diagnosed with severe ADHD, depression, and potentially Aspergers, all that the school district missed.
Dont send your kids here.

Administration is incredibly hard to contact, they play favorites with the high income kids and the sports kids (who are generally the same group of kids).
On a more personal note, the principal denied me to allow me to bring my friend from another school to our prom. He gave no reason, whenever we tried to meet about it he was always busy. From the outside looking in it felt like it was an attack against a potentially gay couple, we were not, but if we were I would have felt incredibly discriminated against.

I have gotten no guidance. When I was a new student, I had no one tell me about the school programs/clubs, I was lost for a long time because there was nobody explaining the hallways and the number in each wing for classes, and I never was taught the lunch system, I never used my school code because I only got it once and it was on the first day, so I had no idea what to do with those numbers that were written on a sticky note that day, many of the teachers did not care about alarming behaviors like anger, sadness, those who fell asleep, either it is neglected, or it is unjustly disciplined, and I chose classes that I suspected to be like-able but I never got to learn all of my options, the website was complicated and I didn't want to interrupt the class, I'm not even sure if there was ever a lost and found... also, there is plenty of bullying

My number one complaint is the amount of bullying that ccurs at the school and how it is handled. Very unsafe!! Over all TERRIBLE!!
