This school is a nightmare. Punishing the kids by taking lunchtime and recess away, no control over the kids in the community and the lack of structure.. tried addressing this several times with staff and was just blown off.. Weve never ran from somewhere so fast!!

We moved our daughter to this school in first grade, the smaller class sizes are great, they hike every week, her class learned the life cycle of a nearby pond. They care for the whole child- from academics to emotional intelligence. The level of communication we have with this school is also superior to our experience with the school she was previously enrolled in, it makes all the difference in the world. I feel like they treat our child like a small human- training for society and the world ahead, I did not have that same feeling at the previous school. I recommend this school to everyone! Our child is flourishing so far, we are excited to see what second grade brings!

My daughter has attended Seven Gen since 1st grade, and is now entering 5th, and my son has attended Seven Gen since Kindergarten, and is now entering 2nd. We have nothing but good things to say about this school! All of the teachers that my children have had have been wonderful, caring, and offer creative approaches to classroom learning. There is a feeling of community at this school that I have not found elsewhere, and being that I'm a teacher myself, I know how hard the teachers and staff have worked to build that. I feel as though this school does a wonderful job of balancing academics and alternative learning opportunities. The knowledge that my children have regarding environmental topics is amazing, all thanks to Seven Gen! We love the school and look forward to having our youngest child start there in a couple of years.

I put one child through Seven Gen k-5 who's a senior this year, one child who's a 7th grader, and one currently attending in 2nd grade. The school has prepared all wonderfully for what to expect both in and outside of school, academically and socially. They've all excelled and had wonderful experiences!

We transitioned to Seven Gen mid-year from our local public school. We really enjoy the hands-on learning that takes place and the projects students complete. The day isn't centered around Chromebooks and we love that our son's Chromebook doesn't come home nightly. We feel welcomed by the school community and receive regular communication with teachers. My son became less anxious and more engaged in school since transitioning to Seven Gen.

Seven Generations Charter School has been an inspiring place to work. Teachers, staff and students are engaged in meaningful and authentic ways to create positive change for generations to come. Seven Generations has formed a community that supports each other, nurtures each child and provides an innovative approach to education. Students are not suck in a classroom all day, but are outside explore the natural and social systems of their community to learn how they are part of a greater system and how their voice can make a difference.

This school is cold, unfriendly, and there is a lot of teacher favoritism in the classroom.

The teachers and administrators at 7Gen are awesome. My child is receiving an outstanding education while also being encouraged to just be a kid and explore our world. My family is so happy to have chosen 7Gen!

The 7Gen RC Squared moto of Respect, Responsibility, Cooperation and Compassion is a part of daily life at this school.

The administrative team of Principal Hunter, Mrs Cosman and Mrs Hersh work well together, with the teachers and staff.

Differentiation is a normal approach at 7Gen. Students are met at their level and provided appropriate challenges to help each achieve their potential.

This seems to be an ongoing issue everywhere. The teachers and administrators respond appropriately and students generally support each other rather than split into cliques.

Most teachers have several years of experience working with the EIC model which uses the school's surroundings and community as a framework within which teaches create unique curriculum units. The teachers put in a lot of effort engaging with each student.

Very good! Our soon to be 6th grader just finished having attended 7Gen from K - 5. She was accepted at a prestigious local private school. I take this as independent verification of the academic potential of both our daughter and of the Seven Generations Charter School. We look forward to seeing our younger daughter continue to be involved in the contextual learning opportunities provided at 7Gen!

My son has been at this school 5 years and i have seen first hand how this school changed his life for the better. S.G.C.S. has taught and instilled all of the above and then some.

My son has a lot of health issues and learning differences and i can honestly say i have never seen a school ,teachers and a community pull together to help and teach one another . The help comes from the teachers ,principles and other students as one big major support system .. the compassion here at this school is amazing .

We are sad to go , i have had two of my sons go to this school and it brings so many wonderful memories .I can't say enough good things about this school .. PRINCIPLE HUNTER really changed this school and still continues to give it his all . Sandra .. S.G.C.S. JUST would be a school without her ,she's a multitasker of it all..and those wonderful compassionate teachers that never ever give up on our children our us as parents .. ALL THESE workers are what makes our children strong and inspire our children to make our world a better place and i won't everyone to know this school is AMAZING and it works you just got to give it a chance ,its not designed for everyones children but it was for us .. my children could be children ..be themselves ..show respect for the earth and at the same time their peers and receive it back . There is an old saying .. DONE KNOCK IT BEFORE YOU TRY IT .. When you believe anything is poss. WE ARE FOREVER S.G.C.S STRONG !

Incredible teachers, creative instruction, positive student engagement, and warm loving environment. We have had some growing pains over the years, but the mission and vision of the school are amazing. Very grateful my kids attend the most diverse school in the East Penn School District. Excited to see how the middle school will develop with the new academic director.
