I graduated from NAHS in 2019. There are constant fights, but if you stay out of the drama and focused on your education you will be alright. The school has gone very downhill since Covid, but what hasnt? If the school received more funding for better resources and support for teachers, maybe their numbers would increase.

This school is not recommended for people who havent lived in a tuff neighborhood before. From a old teachers perspective i noticed the constant lack of teacher care of fights and effort to help students out with grades or bring forward more effort is disgusting. 1 Star.

I graduated in 1977. It was a decent school. The school is neglected, the students are not ready for college or anything else. All we do is raise taxes. You cant sell a home in the district because young couples do not want to send their children here. Absolutely disgraceful!

Overall the experience here was pretty bad due to bad teachers, annoying students and terrible leadership. Pretty sad that I have to give this review because there are genuinely great students and teachers here but they get drowned out by the louder group of bad ones.

Most of the teachers here are pretty great, but the minority often speaks louder than the majority. Some teachers make everything about race/politics etc. Some teachers are flat out just rude/ineffective at their job.

Leadership here is terrible. Instead of addressing real issues, they go out of their way to "fix" things that are not real problems. Also, students are usually left in the dark about administrative decisions, only to find out about them when they are put into action.

Our schools is highly underrated, this is an amazing school and people don't notice that. Sure we have some problems with the immature kids that break the wall, but I believe we have more student and teachers building that wall back up! We will be the best school in Pennsylvania, just takes time and effort and the help of parents, teachers, and us the students. Got to get back to work! "Class Of 2016!"

One way to improve norristown high is to hire teachers with passion. The school identifies problem children but does little to help when requested by parents. The actions of the faculty plays a major part in the failure and success of the students. I am a parent of a student who had his joy robbed by disgruntled teachers. It only takes one bad teacher to ruin hope and optimism in a child.

I am currently a sophomore at Norristown, and for the most part, I like my school. I like my teachers and my friends, but my other peers are what ruins the school honestly. People need to get their act together so we can actually be treated like we are in high school. It's really just that group of immature kids that ruins everything, including our reputation. Because of them, it give a norristown a bad impression. Of course, every school has a group of uneducated baboons, but its almost like it's too excessive here. Also, our athletic programs lack in comparison to other schools. Why can't we have a good athletic director to help mend our athletic programs? As a 3 sport athlete, it is embarrassing to go against other schools with our lack of coaches and discipline. As for school programs, I wish we had more AP class opportunities. I am satisfied with everything else that has to do with academics however, and feel as if I am learning with the help of my caring teachers.
