Small district in the process of making an extraordinary turn around. Ratings and test scores do not reflect the improvements being made in acedemics. Great teachers and administrators impacting students in a very individual and personal way that inspires lifelong learners beyond the standardized test. My kids have had a very positive experience at each grade level so far.

I graduated from Northgate in 2015, and if you paid me 1,000,000,000 dollars to go back there even for a day, I wouldn't take the money.
I had some of my worst experiences at Northgate, and the place is just getting worse. Send your kids somewhere else, please.

My daughter just graduated class of 2014 !!! It is so not true about the math tutoring she was in honors trig and they didnt offer tutoring for that I think if you cant offer tutoring for a subject you should not be able to allow students to take that class

Have had two children attend Northgate Middle School. The teachers are dedicated to the success of the students. They offer advanced courses as well as before and afterschool tutoring. In the math department kids can choose any math teacher to tutor them, for free. This gives them access to a variety of teaching styles that can help them to grasp the information. The school has a very active concert and marching band program and just this year began an orchestra program. Northgate is a small school district and there is a lot of dedicated teachers in the middle school and high school. Anyone attending school with the right attitude who is going there to learn can be very successful.

I attended Northgate awhile back. I was never impress in the curriculum. Granted there are teachers there that actually did care about the students, the other teachers just brought down the system. I was in all the advance placement courses and honors, and to me they were a waste of time and did not prepare me for college.

Not thrilled with some of the teacher communication to parents or lack there of. School website not updated by some teachers promptly so that parents know where their child stands. There are some good teachers though.
