school sucks terrible education most days sitting in class while the teacher is on their phone after they hand out a worksheet that takes 15 minutes to fill out in a 50 minute class. terrible kids. 1/5 stars do not recommend

My experience at Pennridge High School has been traumatic; the students are given few rules, which causes them to misbehave and destroy what rewards they are given; I've had teachers be extremely disrespectful and give me strange and unfitting punishments like placing me with students who harass me, the administrative staff is uncooperative and have little respect for their students. The counselors do not help the students that ask for it, and the principals befriend the kids who cause the most problems, leaving those harassed to continue being so. Do not choose Pennridge if you want your child in a safe space; they do not care.

They have obnoxious kids. My Grandson was attacked by classmates.....you can't really say classmates. They are terrible due to lack of proper guidance.
No Discipline. The Principal turns the other way and all of the students suffer and learn no social skills. So very sad for all.

To put it blunt, Pennridge sucks. It is your typical racist, homophobic white school. There is no real diversity and everything feels fake and out of place. During my senior year, pennridge has not only kicked me out of the palace in Allentown because my mom was 8 minutes late, but they have also denied my disabled mom a ticket to my graduation because they only had 60 disability tickets in a class of 570. They didnt ask the students to show proof of the persons disability, they just told the students to give them the regular tickets and theyd give them the handicapped ones. We had to call the stabler arena to tell them we needed one and thankfully we got one. How could a school of thousands be this irresponsible and disrespectful? Its very shameful to be an alum at pennridge.

I wish schools that have financial support of their communities would take some responsibility for developing the leadership potential and capacity for compassion of their students. Unfortunately, Pennridge has become a national disgrace in this important responsibility.

Pennridge High School is amazing! My 6 kids have been living here in the Pennridge Area forever! The elementary and middle schools are great too! 3 of my kids have already graduated from this high school. I can't wait for the other three to share the Pennridge High School experience soon! This high school is just nothing but fantastic! Their academic success could not be better! They have great clubs and sports! They have everything that a teen could be interested in! The school looks gorgeous! Thank you Pennridge Family for everything! GO RAMS!!

We have 5 children, all Pennridge graduates or students. I was happy w/ the district UNTIL getting to the high school. Our high school administration seems more interested in flexing their muscles than finding academic solutions to the mediocrity of questionable teachers. There are some great/dedicated teachers at PHS, but there's also a substantial number of teachers who should be replaced. ALL of our children achieved honor roll status, but scored pathetically on the English/written aspect of their SAT's and their MATH scores were average (but took AP Math courses). ALL of our children took HONORS and/or AP biology classes. One of our children failed to pass the Pennsylvania KEYSTONE exam's biology section -- this after our child achieved a 'B' in HONORS Biology! Currently, our oldest child has received a Master's Degree in IT and we have 2 children in engineering schools in Virginia and D.C., but I don't credit Pennridge for helping prepare them (sadly, our children agree).
