Good luck if you have a kid on an IEP or 504 plan. The teachers wont follow even the most simple accommodations like sitting in the front of class and having a separate room to take tests. You push them to do better and the teachers complain about their class sizes and the guidance counselor gives you a list to do at home to compensate for the fact that they will do nothing.
Bullying is rampant, and theres a history of punishing the victim.
The kids have no lockers although they are sitting there ready to use because we will have to teach all 800 students (instead of just the incoming 6th graders) how to use a combination lock. The strong recommendation is that kids not wear coats as theyd have to carry them all dayeven when it was so cold the bus doors froze shut.

please please PLEASE do not send your kids here, it was a terrible experience. the bullying is terrible and they dont do ANYTHING about it. if youre struggling with mental health they do not care. this school is absolutely terrible, the teachers are amazing, but the principal and assistant ARE TERRIBLE. PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!
