As an alumna of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School, I look back on my time at OLSH with deep gratitude. I was intellectually challenged by teachers who were passionate about their subjects and who genuinely encouraged my interests. Through hands-on projects and presentations, I experienced a diverse and engaging academic environment that prepared me well for college and beyond.

Just as importantly, I was emotionally supported by teachers and counselors who truly wanted what was best for me and who stood by me during difficult moments in my life. OLSH provided opportunities to explore both athletics and the arts, allowing me to grow outside the classroom and discover new strengths.

Most meaningful of all, my faith was nurtured through theology classes, retreats, and service opportunities. The example set by the faculty and staff showed me that living a Catholic life extends far beyond the classroom. Their witness strengthened me to become the confident Catholic professional I am today.

I am incredibly grateful for OLSH and the many opportunities it providedthis school shaped who I am, both personally and professionally.

Horrible experience as a student. You won't fit in if your not white and come from a lot of money. Your favorited if your parents can donate money to them.

OLSHs motto says:
Being Known but instead of recognizing individuality, they focused on old gossip and assumptions.
Being Transformed but rather than encouraging growth, they tore down confidence and dismissed potential.
Being Inspired but the example set was judgment, bias, and a lack of compassion.

If these are the schools core values, theyre not living them.

I cant count the amount of comments Ive received before, during and after my child attended here that they are old school and very racist! My choice and struggles led me to believe the majority was right.

I would recommend OLSH to anyone. The teachers are very attentive to student needs, they are encouraging, challenging and fair. They work very hard to ensure that all students are prepared for college or any other career they may choose. The students are welcoming and friendly. The campus is beautiful and very safe. It is a wonderful school.

If your student is academically there then they will do ok at this school (even though there is a lack of AP classes). But if your child needs a little bit more extra help they have little to offer. I'd take your money elsewhere.

We came to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart from out of town and were greeted in a warm welcoming atmosphere. We immediately felt like a part of the OLSH family.
Academics are college prep and there is a good selection of courses, including honors courses. College credit is available for certain courses. The school balances new trends in education without abandoning tried and true educational practices. They teach students about the Catholic faith and encourage them to live it and develop on a personal level, as well as through service to others.
There are a wide range of extracurricular activities. This size of school allows more opportunity for students to become involved than would be possible at a larger school. Participation creates poised confident individuals. OLSH makes it easy to receive information and to communicate through creative means including; weekly newsletters, the OLSH Mobile App, emergency alerts, a quarterly Principals Forum, Meet the Teachers Night, and parent socials, to name a few.
We highly recommend Our Lady of the Sacred Heart!

OLSH is the best school ever. Please do not read the reviews that say it is not. We have just put in a new OWL (OLSH writing and Learning center) and it is one of three in Pennsylvania in the high school level, as well as being the only one in a catholic school. The students also get to interact with the sisters, and each class has mass with them once a month. We also have all school masses on important feast days and holy days of obligation as well as once a month. The teachers are stellar. They care about their students. Students are also paired with a teacher as their advisor at the beginning of freshman year. This teacher will advise their group of students until the end of Junior year. OLSH is a family, we all care about each other. I ask you to consider OLSH as your high school!

If you want your child to have access to wonderful academic, athletic, and extra-curricular activities, then OLSH is the place go. The students, teachers, coaches, parents, and administrators truly encourage and support one another. I've been involved in education for many years and OLSH is one of the only schools that proves time and again that it is there to serve the needs of the students. I have seen my childrend grow into respectful, educated, and talented young adults -- OLSH has a whole lot to do with that.

For OLSH to care about a student the parents need to have money to donate. Otherwise, you have a target. Don't send your children to this school!!

This school is unbelievably horrible. The principle and vice principle are very unfair to those students who don't pay full tuition. Don't send your kids here the school is like jail.
