All four of my children attended Robinson Township Christian School preK through 12th grade. Each having different learning abilities and personalities found their place in this school. Because of the small class room size, they were able to receive individualized attention from their teacher whether they needed extra help OR needed to be challenged at a greater level.
I cannot recommend this school enough. It was just a needed blessing for our family.

We have been so thankful for this school and the people who are there. The school has been a significant source of good and helpfulness to our whole family, not just are attending child. Our child has truly thrived at this school and the investment of monthly tuition leaves us with no regrets.

A significant goal/mission of the school is to create persons of character, not just churn out students who are 'academically prepared' for college. This is done through their curriculum, faith-based orientation, teacher/student interactions and extra-curricular activities that are offered.

My daughter, who is now a senior, has attended RTCS since 8th grade. After attending public elementary and completing a year of cyber school, I can honestly say that enrolling at RTCS was the best decision we made. It's a small school with a family atmosphere, and I never experienced or witnessed anything that wasn't positive. My daughter received an excellent education and was accepted at the 6 universities she applied to around the country. Just as important, her faith and biblical knowledge has been strengthened during her time here. I highly recommend RTCS for your child's education.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Robinson Township Christian School. The academics are good and allowed my children to all receive great merit based scholarships for college. At this school, my children didn't just learn facts, but they learned how to be good critical thinkers. We are very happy with our experience here.

One of the best parts about RTCS is the staff, which is very dedicated to creating an environment in which the students thrive. They are always willing to bend over backwards to help students in any way they can, emotionally supporting as well as taking the time to learn about each student and how to help them best.

RTCS does deal with bullying (if or when it happens) bullying in this school is very rare because it is a small school and the teachers care.

I am in the high school and have been at RTCS since pre-school and in my time here the teachers have helped me grow both academically and spiritually. My fellow students and I are like one big family with a lot of respect for each other. There is definitely no bullying and if there was the teachers and students would stand up for each other. This school is a blessing to me and much better than public schools. Overall, a great place

I cannot say enough good things about RTCS. All of our children received an excellent education with a strong moral foundation. As a parent I have been involved with the school for almost 14 years - I have never seen or heard of bullying or any serious behavior infraction. Students are respectful, teachers are caring, staff is helpful. Compare RTCS to any public school on things that matter -- academic excellence, morality and dignity, safety and respect -- and there is no comparison!

When we started there the school was great. As time went on, things changed a lot. If you are considering this school, don't go by the website either, it lists a lot of activities they no longer offer.

I and all of my siblings attended this school PreK-12 and all of us wouldn't have it any other way. It is a wonderful community where everyone knows everyone (and their families) and we can learn to support God's kingdom together. This school pushes you, both spiritually and academically, and guides you through large amounts of growth. There are, of course, less opportunities (socially and academically) than there would be at a larger school, but also tremendous benefits including a lack of bullying and a personal learning experience. Overall, an excellent place.

Both of my children attended RTCS. It has been the best decision we, as parents, and my kids have ever made. Spiritually and academicly it is well beyond what the public schools could ever offer. My children started attending in their high school years, my son graduated in 2016 and my daughter will be a senior this fall. It has allowed them to learn more about God and Live what they believe in a relaxed atmostpsphere without worries of drugs, bullying, and violence. They have formed lasting relationships with not only their peers, but also the teachers, principal and staff. I am thankful we found such a wonderful place for our young adults. My son was accepted at his first choice for college and my daughter is looking to do the same this fall. If you are considering an alternative to public school, RTCS is the place.

My husband attended this school K-12. When we met, I was very impressed with his intelligence - college was a breeze for him and he was very well-prepared for it. Since I went to public school, I was especially jealous of the biblical knowledge that he had from years of Christian schooling. I am now a teacher at the school and am so passionate about the mission of RTCS - we continue to teach that all of life is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and that all things are to be done excellently in service to God and neighbor. I am blessed to be in a community that pursues a love for God, love of learning, and love for those around us.

Our family continues to have an excellent experience at RTCS - the teachers are highly committed, academic standards are very good and we appreciate the Classical model the school has adopted. The individualized attention because of a low student/teacher ratio is really helpful. Tuition rates are very reasonable and we appreciate the options in activities outside of the classroom, including Track and Drama which are particularly of high quality at this school.

Having attended RTCS from K-12 I know very well the high academic and spiritual standards upheld by this school. I cannot recommend it highly enough, as it has prepared me well for life beyond high school, driving strong college and work force success in my 10 years since graduating.

We have 3 grandchildren in RTCS, and have been visiting programs at the school for the last 8 years! Our grandchildren's personal relationship with their teachers is a great strength of the school. It's amazing what the children have learned in a few short years due to the superb Christian teachers who model Christ and infuse the curriculum with a Christian perspective, with high academic standards. We enjoy going to the Grandparent Day held every year and are blessed to witness the maturing & development of our grandchildren through their school work and in the growth we see in their daily lives.

If you are looking for an excellent Christian school, especially one from within the Reformed perspective, I would highly recommend Robinson Township Christian School. It has dedicated reformed Christian teachers and we covet their loving guidance of our childrens academics and in all the intangible ways that they teach and impact our children throughout the day. We appreciate the classical education emphasis at RTCS and feel our children are getting a great education. One of our sons who recently graduated obtained a substantial scholarship from the school of his choice. He greatly benefited from the mandatory senior thesis project and from the influence of local reformed pastors who regularly teach courses at the school. For its high academic standards, for the dedication and caring of all the faculty, and for its fidelity to sound Christian instruction, all parents should consider Robinson Township Christian School.

My husband and I are beyond happy with RTCS. Our three children wake up every morning and are so excited to get to school and learn. The teachers at Robinson Township Christian School are almost like mother/father figures to the students. They have the same Christian values as they teach their students. We feel very comfortable sending our children to school knowing that they will be safe and there is zero tolerance for bullying! It may just be the closest thing to "home schooling" without actually keeping our children at home. We couldn't be happier with our choice in choosing RTCS for our children's education as they become closer to the Lord.

About 16 years ago my parents decided that they were unhappy with the public school system. I was being exposed to lifestyles, ideas, and issues that were far beyond what was appropriate for a sixth grader. They were also unhappy with the lack of challenging academic material in my classes.
We were members at Providence Presbyterian Church so my parents knew about Robinson Township Christian School through that connection (the church and school share a building).
I began my seventh grade year at RTCS and graduated years later. I was not happy about the change at first (no child likes to leave friends and familiar places). Over my time as a student at RTCS I grew to truly love the school and all that it stood for. The teachers truly care about their students, not only academically but personally and spiritually as well. The academics are rigorous and prepared me well for college. (I was accepted to and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh - main campus, remained on the Dean's List all four years and ended with a "magna cum laude" on my diploma.)
I am now in my fourth year as a teacher at RTCS, and I couldn't enjoy my job more. This school has been a major part of my life. I am very thankful for how God has used this place in my life.

We chose RTCS because of the emphasis on character development, and the desire to have our children surrounded by life-minded families. We wanted our children to be taught with a Biblical world-view rather than a secular perspective with negative peer influences. Weve been happy to see the school more recently adapt the Classical model of education. Ive personally experienced teachers taking time to individually mentor my children, work through lifes challenges and help them develop critical thinking skills. The environment at RTCS has been really helpful for one of our children who has some mild special needs. The teachers have really invested in our children, including regular updates (texts) letting me know they are praying . 2016 update from some previous reviews, the academic offerings have improved and RTCS has really benefited from major additions to the building/parking-lot, courtesy of the church the school shares a building with. In our experience the school community has been very welcoming and theres been good discipline in and outside the classrooms. Our family would have been really deprived of many wonderful blessings if we hadnt chosen RTCS and most of these blessings have nothing to with fun amenities or extra opportunities. They are the people and the community weve found here.

I graduated from Robinson Township Christian School in 2009. I only attended the middle and high school and did not feel ostracized by the "church member" kids. I was welcomed by my classmates and teachers, and still feel a very strong bond to the school and its people. RTCS offers the unique opportunity to learn about the Lord and His role in every facet of life. It also boasts an exceptional education program, from which I benefited greatly. The high standards set at RTCS pushed me to achieve and compete for a full-ride scholarship that I won. One of the advantages of the school is the small class sizes. The teachers all know the students personally and are with them through their whole high school career. I still visit the school and stay in touch with the teachers. If you're looking for a school where your children will be discipled, taught, and loved by their teachers and classmates- look no further.

RTCS is a wonderful school that strives for academic excellence, as well as a developing a well rounded individual from a Christ centered perspective. The students learning is above and beyond what I have seen in a typical school's classroom. The students are constantly engaged in hands-on learning with in-depth analogy of all subject matter (much above the typical curriculum). The teachers are loving and gracious towards their learning.... as well as EXCITED! Sending our children here was one of the best decisions of our life. I am so thankful for this school.

Compared to other schools in the local area, RTCS is a substandard institution that is missing some vital components. Math and science instruction at the high school level is a footnote at its best and nonexistent at its worst. By the time students get to college and begin to realize all that they had not learned, it is too late. They need to seek remedial instruction or downgrade their major. Career paths from this school are limited to the liberal arts and business. Parents who make grand boasts that this school far surpasses their expectations clearly have expectations that are far too low.

Robinson Township Christian School has far surpassed our expectations for our children's education! After talking to several families who highly recommended RTCS, we decided to send our children there. We are not members of the church associated with the school, but have found the teachers and faculty to be very welcoming and warm. The teachers we have met are enthusiastic and caring. The best part is our children actually find learning "fun" at school! I feel good knowing that our kids are in an environment that promotes Christian values and has high academic standards. We look forward to our children growing up at RTCS.
