They do not accommodate children with disabilities, they group kids with minor disabilities in with severely disabled kids. Not allowing growth in children. Just horrendous. My child came home and was telling me for months his 2nd grade teacher was yelling at him. Unprofessional. Said something and my child is in a special ed where he doesn’t belong. School refused to participate in an arbitration process for an IEP and they believe they have more rights to do as they see fit than the parents.

My son graduated from Butler, my daugher still attends. My son struggled through school but had the most amazing teachers who always supported him and wanted to see him succeed. They truly went above and beyond and were in constant communication with me. The principal is very hands-on; the kids like and respect him. I told the principal that it took a village to get him through school and I am forever grateful to the Butler staff. He is now thriving at Unami Middle School and I know it's because of he foundation he received at Butler. My daughter loves Butler! I never have a problem getting her up and out of the house in the morning! We moved here 7 years before having kids because I knew the only school district I wanted for my kids was Central Bucks. Every one of my expectations has been exceeded. We couldn't be happier here!

Glad to hear that people like Butler Elementary. Taught there when it first opened in 1964 and before it added a wing. Still have the program for dedication of the original building. Helped Principal Bob Barth figure out how to finance his doctoral studies, etc.

Wonderful, Wonderful principal!! He cares so much about the kids and building a relationship with the parents. Sadly we moved two miles up the street (just over the border) and had to send our son to Pine Run. We miss Butler so very much. The open classroom at Pine run doesn't work at all for him.
