The in-classroom experience was unparalleled. My child attended through sixth grade and is in a second successful middle school year, taking public school honors classes. My rating would be five stars but for the administration, which is static and not transparent. I am not sure any of the Board members even have children in the school and there were no additions to or turnover on the board during the whole time we attended. Principal is interested in his own convenience and his own agenda but thankfully seems mostly to stay out of the way of the EXCELLENT teachers and let them do their OUTSTANDING work.

My daughter attended this school for kindergarten and it was simply amazing. I can't believe how much she learned, the level at which she's reading and the math she's able to do at age six! The teachers are incredibly caring and dedicated. I feel very lucky that we "won" the lottery for her to attend BCMCS.

I am currently a student at BCMCS. This school is so much fun! I love to work at my own pace and all summer I am preparing and getting excited for school. Each student independently works in the morning to finish their math, grammar, word study, and geometry. The school also has history, botany, zoology, art, writing, reading, music, computers, library, and several more. So glad I came to this school!

This school is a treasure. The building itself is only a couple years old and plans are underway to make improvements to provide for more outside areas for recess. The children thrive in the Montessori environment. The entire student population is polite and respectful to the teachers and staff as well as each other. The kids are able to excel in their work without limitation, have individualized care by the teachers and extraordinary freedoms in exploring their own talents and interests. Some may think the Montessori method of teaching is not structured but the children have clear routines and responsibilities each day and are accountable for completing their work. The foundation that this experience provides the children will serve them well throughout their lives.
