This is a non union school with many dedicated teachers. My only criticism is there are obvious favorite students especially in the theater and dance departments. We have attended four award ceremonies where one teacher will talk about each student and then select students will have multiple teachers clammering to talk about them lessening the achievements of the other students.
The dance department who has great input on who gets cast will teach select students audition numbers prior to auditions giving them an unfair advantage.
They also develop personal relationships with the students and do not realize that students are share text messages from the instructor. Very unprofessional.

Guidance office is lacking in their knowledge and ability to help students with extenuating circumstances even when it is clearly discussed with them. The only guidance counselor is very young and quick to appogize after not dealing with or being on top of situations tohat can cause undo hardships for students.

Discipline for bullies is lacking if they are considered talented students. For example, bully cast as a lead in show was not disciplined appropriately because they were in the advertisements and promoted as part of a show. At other schools their actions would qualify them for suspension, here they were "talked to".

Overall it's a great School allowing the students to study the arts.

All the kids at LPPACS are different. They are focused. They know what they want to do. Artists. Dancers. Acting. Lawyers. They are at the right place for them. They are working on their craft.

My 14 year old daughter gets homework, but it's not excessive. Her classes are 85 minutes long, so she doesn't have much to do when she gets home.

10 out of 10. My freshman wants to live at the school. Wants to put a bed in the dance studio.

We love Lincoln Park!!! I am overwhelmed by the level of engagement, energy and excitement for learning that the teaching staff provides to students and the positive atmosphere. The academic pace is fast and creative. Best of all, it is a place that allows children to be themselves, to celebrate their gifts, and to mix their love of the arts with a first-class educational experience. As a parent, I could not be happier!

I attend this school and it is amazing! Every day is fun, the teachers make our classes interesting, the academics are challenging, the arts curriculum is phenomenal. . . AND the other students are so nice and always support each other. I love my school!!!

This school spends an enormous amount of taxpayer money on a few students and is allowed to pick and choose who they want at the school using completely subjective criteria with no accountability and no published criteria.

My daughter was rejected due to her disability disability and the school won't admit it. .
