McCormick is a wonderful elementary school. It has smaller classroom sizes than most elementary schools and wonderful teachers/staff. It's a close-knit community, and everyone looks out for each other. The kids seem to love going to school each day, and they are learning so much. The teachers make learning fun, and the kids have lots of rewards and parties for doing their part and being good, helpful, smart students. It was recently listed as the highest-scoring elementary school in Pennsylvania. McCormick Elementary School achieved a score of 95.7/100 according to PA's Future Ready Index. I highly recommend this elementary school to parents.

McCormick Elementary was recently ranked in the top 20 of best elementary schools in the Pittsburgh area by U.S. News & World Report. Excellent school, close-knit community, and excellent teaching staff.

This is the smallest of the elementary schools in Moon Twp. and I like that the teachers and students know everyone by name. I love that the school is focused on character education. The teaching staff is wonderful.
