Needs a lot of construction done on the outside and inside. School lunch sucks and is usually cold. Heaters never ever work. My english classrooms ceiling started to leak month or so ago. Not the schools fault obviously but the town needs to help fix up its middle school. Other then that this school is great. Amazing amazing teachers. I had the same ones for 7th and 8th, They have all taught me so much while also being understanding. Kids are okay. Fights happen sometimes but are usually controlled.

I have had overwhelmingly positive experiences with this school and the staff and administration. They have high academic standards and the co-curricular programs are second to none! The sports coaches and music teachers we have met have been wonderful. I just wish the town would actually support some maintenance and renovation as those are the only issues we have ever had at this school.

It's very good, especially in this time of crisis, though, I do recommend they could handle it better, such as cutting back on the workload to help us manage our time more wisely.

They try to build on our character by implementing moral values, such as "be kind," and "treat others in the way you would want to be treated". But, I've rarely encountered instances of this ever working. My peers and fellow student body are quite rude and arrogant, they care more about feeling, over fact.

The leadership of the students (and teachers alike) use leadership skills to head projects, and influence children, but this doesn't work, because the children in my school are still incompetent and obnoxious, to me.

They do try and advertise ideas against bullying thoroughly, as a student I can see this in action too. To my knowledge, I've rarely occurred seeing any sort of violence, with the occasional rumor.

From what I've seen so far, in the times of this "distance learning" the workload is overwhelming, and it's piling up. It's harder to get it done, especially with me having to worry about my 'special classes' such as PE, and digital art, as well as my core classes like math, science, and etcetera.

They teach us well in great amounts, they're our influencers, we must trust them, rely on them, and I've been able to do so-so far. The teachers' handle our assignments well, they give us enough in-school work to keep us engaged (at times) though, yet again, the homework is piling up in these times of crisis.

As a parent of children whom are both at a disadvantage considering they both hve disabilities but even more importantly in the social setting in South County they are economically challenged. I have time and time again seen my children be not only ostracized by other students but judged and tried unfairly by staff so far Curtis Corner Middle School has been the worst. I do however want to state that some teachers have been a great support but sadly to say has only been two members. I recently was approached by another parent who also has a son with an IEP and is dealing with the same problems that I am and has been in contact with quite a few parents who have children that are either challenged due to learning disabilities or their economic standings within the community and are currently fighting for the rights of their children. With that being said I do believe this school is not meeting the needs of the students but only those whose needs are not of a trying stature which is not ok and given that this is the case I would say there's definitely one too many children being LEFT BEHIND.
