My son's second grade teacher assigns homework and then doesn't check it or give feedback; just going through the motions.

My son's first grade teacher was excellent: extended learning activities and detailed feedback for my wife and I. That's why I am so disappointed that his second grade teacher just goes through the motions; she seems like she already has one foot out the door for retirement. I'll have to wait until next year to see if the teachers at this school are effective.

I see some materials coming home addressing these topics, but I get the feeling they are just going through the motions

The principal at this school is more of a manager than an educational leader. He's proud to have RIDE tour some of his teachers' classroom, but just makes sure his ineffective teachers are hidden away and don't have student discipline problems

My son has been attending for two years. 1st grade: Great; 2nd grade: mediocre. I'll have to wait to see what 3rd grade brings before I can give my full opinion

I love this school because it is very clean, the teachers are excellent and I believe the school deserves this cause nothing like this ever happens in Tiverton RI.
