It has many problems with the Atmosphere of the actual school and The environment the kids have to deal with everyday and and when the Dean or someone is notified about these problems they don't do anything to fix it

This school is incredible for students out of district. In comparison to Westerly High, Chariho teachers want the best for their students and have a positive attitude all the time. The school may not be the most religiously or racially diverse but that does not halt students from expressing their feelings on the matter. Many students have been educated about current problems in the world whilst attending Chariho High which is so important, not only for a school with all kinds of different people, but in life. There are so many opportunities for students to thrive and eventually further their education. For the first time, I've been able to feel safe and secure in the classroom whilst also having the ability to learn new information. This is an amazing school overall and if you are ready to learn then I recommend looking into Chariho Regional High School.

The teachers look for the best in the students, and overall they prepare you not just for college but for life. Don't listen to these bias "oh they don't care about you" reviews because they are false.

Doesn't help special needs students and pressures them to graduate before they are ready and have lots of days absent. They kick kids out of their plans and have to fight to get it back.

My oldest son had a terrible experience and my youngest son felt like a robot in middle school. They don't do anything for special needs and mental health issues. They just pass the kids along until they push them out

This school is awful. After numerous problems that were not addressed adequately, I moved my child to a neighboring school this past year. He was so far behind we were shocked. I knew this school was bad, but was horrified when I found out how far behind my child was compared to other local schools. If you need any kind of special education services, don't even think about it. They will fight you on everything. I don't know who they exist to serve, but it is not the students.

The school administration in this school is awful. My daughter was beaten from behind in the school hallway which resulted in her sustaining a concussion and being interrogated for disciplinary reasons. I was not notified until several hours after this event occurred, during which time no medical treatment was provided to my daughter for her concussion. This school does not care about students.

This is an awful school. Teachers and administration could not care less about their students. They would rather humiliate their students than help them learn. It's very sad how much students rely on their high school education to prepare them for the rest of their lives. Even the extracurricular and elective teachers show a lack of support for their students. I have had such teachers tell outright lies to myself and others in my time there. No amount of renovating can change the poor quality of this school, the staff, and the administration.
