They are limiting student freedom on many things. Students are now no longer able to create bathroom passes and cannot even use an educational app on their given Chromebooks. The bullying also has been getting out of hand, especially for students who need extra help. Lunches look and taste as if they were made by the worst cooks in the country that would make Gordon Ramsay not even step into that lunch room. The only good things at that school are a few teachers. But favoritism is clear among the administration. Most of the money and grants given to the school is always towards their sport team, especially football team that still never win a single win. The bathrooms clearly need to be fixed due to seeing duck tape on a lock once in a bathroom and the vaping problem is out of hand.

If you want your kid to be passionate in anything art related (music, art) DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. I had two good art teachers here that taught an honors portfolio class and a metal smithing course and I learned more from them than the other two teachers that worked there. From the other two, it was either you cant do this right or you can, so there was NO motivation. Also, we were taught AP drawing by a teacher who doesnt even PRACTICE HERSELF?!!! Most kids in art that went here seemed to have lost their passion because of the lack of care. Also, WHY IS THE HEAD OF THE ART DEPARTMENT SOMEONE WHO DOESNT EVEN KNOW A LICK OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ART? It isnt fair that so much love is put into programs that some students couldnt even care about, but art kids are left behind. Thanks Coventry! Youve destroyed my passion!

Drugs and racism, the school promotes kindness towards certain groups, but it does not protect others. Poor school, administration from the superintendents office down is horrible.

If you want a honest, accurate current review listen to this one. I am currently a Senior at CHS and I have to say I absolutely love this school. Throughout my four years here, I have never seen ANY bullying, I must say the students are very friendly and polite. The teachers are amazing and go beyond on what there supposed to do to help a student. There is no drug problem that I see and the fights are few to none. The only thing I wish they would change is I wish that they would prepare the students for the future more. During Spirit Week, there encouraging us to spray paint our hair but three months later expecting us to walk across the stage with our diploma and be adults. But overall this is a good school and I am proud to call myse!f a Oaker.

Awful. I'm currently a senior here, and I can honestly say This school is the absolute worst if you don't come from a wealthy or upper middle class family or have high self-esteem. 3/4 VP's could care less about the students. if they did care, they would stop telling parents they'd put an end to their children being harassed. They would also stop letting students spew racial slurs and sexist remarks. The bathroom looks absolutely disgusting. The teachers don't do anything either. If a student has been warned to settle down several times, they don't resort to kicking them out like they used to, leaving some students that actually care about their education unable to concentrate. If i were a parent, no way would i ever send my child here, i don't even recommend parents sending their children here, to a drug infested school.

This high school is one of the best schools around! They have friendly administrators that are polite and courteous, lots of sports and activities, and now we have introduced chromebooks into our school system! So excited for the 2014-2015 school year :)

This school will make you feel like trash unless you are an athlete. They have one of the best drama programs in the state yet they care more about their football team almost winning one of their countless games than their phenomenal art programs having students placing first in many prestigious competitions.

Not a good school their are a few great teachers at this school but over all this is a bad school. Your child is more then likely to get involved with drugs and/or alcohol after attending this school as this is what most of the students do in their spare time.

Coventry High School I would have to say is a horrible school. There are weekly fights, drug use from the students, students smoking and vandilism. I know that alot of schools have all of that, but this school is just horrible. I myself am a freshman and are looking at another high school to go to. The only good thing about this school is the teachers and how friendly most of them are.

Coventry High School is the best school I have ever been to. This school pushes me to do harder and so far I have had wonderful teachers who teach differently everyday to fit students needs. They find new ways to encourage students and interact with them. Yes, there are teachers who may be harder and have faults the mainly they all are very well. Right now, I have a GPA of a 4.5 and have highest honors. This school has helped me to become a wonderful student.
