Hanaford is the only school in E.G. rated a 6. I think it's a well deserved 6. This school is meh average, absolutely nothing special about it. We've been there almost a year and the experience has been underwhelming all the way around.

The six pillars of character are reinforced and rewarded with Hawk tickets. Students can win lunch with the principal.

Hanaford is our favorite EG school. The faculty and staff are caring and supportive of all the kids. It was a great 4-6 school for my older son, and remains awesome as a 3-5 building. The teachers do a terrific job and are always accessible. The academic demands are higher in fourth and fifth. This is tough as kids adjust to fourth grade, but helps to prepare for their final year in elementary school. Everyone in the building is warm and welcoming and you can see they are a team. There are plenty of different enrichment activities for kids. Parents are invited to events several times a year. I can't say enough about this school!

The teachers here are wonderful and my child loved this school and even wishes they could go back!
