As a family we are very disappointed in our experience with the school. The culture is not one of inclusion and you are treated differently depending on if you donate or a student of the staff. While we were once bought in, we have come to realize the foundation of faith and promise of spiritual growth is a far cry from how they treat others.

The growth of the school is done so at the expense of students. Kids are learning in trailers, no locker rooms, the facilities are stretched. Athletic teams are having missed march uniforms and practice jerseys. They are prioritizing growth and development without a careful plan on how to fully support these students.

Wonderful school where my child is challenged and respected. As an hispanic student, I find the school to be an inclusive and encouraging environment. HHCA has a family feel to it where they work with the entire child (ie, athletically, spiritually, etc.) which I find inspiring. My son looks forward to getting up and going every single day.

Disappointing . This school could be great but they fail to follow through on a variety of issues. Class sizes are small to the point of minimal diversity and no chance for healthy socialization. Academics are mediocre as reflected by the faculty education levels. Arts are strong. Athletics are very poorly administered.

Largely busy work. In the lower school there are lots of packets. In middle and upper school, homework varies by teacher.

I love the smaller class sizes, hands on projects, different learning experiences, vision and mission of the school. And the godly, engaged staff is superb. It all creates a unique learning atmosphere.

We love Hilton Head Christian Academy! Our daughter has been going since Kindergarten and is now in the 3rd grade. The administration and teachers are amazing and are always there to answer any questions or concerns that we may have.

We have put both of our kids through HHCA from K-12, this being our daughter's senior year. Coming to HHCA is THE best decision we ever made. Our son is thriving at Clemson as a junior Pre-Med student and our daughter is well prepared to leave for college in the fall. Bittersweet that our run at HHCA is almost over but couldn't have asked for a better experience. The fact that our kids agree makes it even better!!

My child struggled emotionally in the large school environment -middle school grades, behavior and choice of friends began to trouble us. We approached Hilton Head Christian and were welcomed with open arms. The administrative and teaching staff individualize their attention toward kids and their efforts have paid off for us. Our teen is happy, making good grades and involved in extracurricular activities. We also take comfort in knowing the other students have set positive examples. HHCA has a place for everyone.

We would not have our children anywhere else! Even our children continue to request to stay at HHCA when given the choice. The love of the Lord, commitment to academic excellence and the special teachers and staff make it an easy decision.

We have three kids at HHCA. I think it is the best option in the area. It is a warm environment and, like most schools, can be as academically challenging as you make it. The faculty and staff are dedicated. My kids know they care. They care about preparing them for college but also their character. HHCA isn't perfect but it is perfect for us.

I have 4 children at the school, and have been there for 8 years. In the last few years HHCA has taken huge strides in improving it's core product. Academics, Arts and Sports are all equally important, but what's most important are the hearts of each child. I can tell you from experience that each faculty member goes above and beyond to know each child, and love each child. Our children have needed some extra academic help over the years, and in every instance, teachers have offered to come early or stay late to give our children the extra help they needed. Bravo HHCA!

This is our second year at HHCA. Our son finds the curriculum challenging and inspiring. He works hard to get good grades and does. It is important to us that his grades reflect knowledge of the subject. We want to be assured that the "A" he receives reflects excellence, and not fluff. We have not been disappointed. HHCA s teachers truly care about their students, work with them when they need extra help, know them as individuals, encourage them in all their endeavors, and challenge them to truly be the best they can be. Our son participates in football, basketball, and baseball at a competitive level, and we look forward to years of growth through participation in the HHCA athletic program. The coaching staff is knowledgeable and instills Christian values that we so highly regard and go far beyond the playing field. His participation in theatre has stretched him and taken him out of his comfort zone. Finally, our son has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. On a daily basis he is surrounded by teachers and staff members who's mission in life is to serve others and to serve the Lord. For all these reason, I unreservedly give five stars to Hilton Head Christian Academy.

Hilton Head Christian Academy is a fantastic school. I have the privilege to be able to send my children to any school in this area, and I would not send them anywhere else. I have had one child graduate from this school and three children currently attending, the youngest in kindergarten. They get a great academic education, but the school does much more. They train students to be leaders and well-rounded individuals that benefit society. The administrators, teachers and coaches are all dedicated to seeing the students fulfill their potential in all areas of life. The music program is phenomenal, and the athletic programs are exceptional - competitive, yet able to maintain a dedication to high morals, sportsmanship, leadership, education/training, safety, health and balance in a student's life. Probably the most outstanding and important feature of this school is that the faculty is comprised of people of exemplary character who love the students and seek to bring out the best in each student.

HHCA is an incredible place. As a parent of a lower school student, and someone who has been involved in the HHCA community, our daughter has thrived in this nurturing environment. With challenging academics, new fine arts and athletic facilities, and a strong Christian atmosphere, this school is on the rise. If you are thinking about private school on Hilton Head and want a place where the teachers truly care deeply about the well-being of your child, HHCA is the place to be!
