Beaufort-Jasper Academy For Career Excellence

As a parent and member of the community, the truth is that this school is not serving the needs of Beaufort County students. Only about one of every four Beaufort County students who complete one of ACE s programs, including ones in construction, hospitality and automotive technology, lands a job after graduation. One success story out of four does not equal an effective school. Yet, millions of dollars are poured into the school each year. While there are success stories coming out of ACE, the center's rating, program accreditation, and graduate placement all fall below State averages. This is unacceptable!

I did not attend the Beaufort Jasper Academy of Excellence I know numerous success stories. These success stories seem to have missed those who think that the SOLUTION to better schools is to CLOSE them, and have none.

This is a horrible school for students seeking a post secondary education. Most of the students at this school have poor academic and discipline records. My child was previously enrolled in schools in West Virginia and Florida. Needless to say, the schools in West Va and Florida were at least 5 years ahead of the Beaufort Jasper Academy For Career Excellence. There is a NOT a school for students trying to prepare for a future quality college education. However, if you like ghetto schools with a lot of cursing, lack of discipline, and unpopular administrations, then this is the school for you. Otherwise, if you happen to drive by this school, press the gas and keep driving! Do not stop!
