Avery Lake Head Start

This is a average school to take your child to. It is a government funded school that provide your child with free lunch daily. However, the school scheduling isn't in sync with other Fort Mill school schedules. The teachers seem very caring and concern with the children's curriculum. They aren't able to go out and play on their playground because of the leveling of the ground. However, I feel playtime outside is something the children need. They provide free transportation but my children isn't able to ride the bus which isn't very helpful nor fair in her case. We live in the Fort Mill area fairly close to the school. My family isn't as financially stable as we should and I have to pay about sixty dollars a week in order for my child to go to school. I am very disappointed at this. I can't wait for my child to start regular school.
