This school is looked down a lot but the time I have been there I has been the best, I made friends and had fun while having straight A’s. Their lunch in my opinion is so awesome as there’s new opinions each day. The school team are great nice players and friendly, this may seem like a fake report but as a student at this school it’s the best.

I don't want to write something very long but we have way too many students in such a small environment. The special ed students aren't treated the same as gen ed students outside of the classroom. Teachers are too relaxed with the idea of wearing a mask because rarely students get in trouble for it being on incorrectly. The CIR's and ADR's don't affect the student enough to get them to stop acting the way they did. We honestly just don't care enough. And last, teachers demand we respect them but never show any students the same kind of respect and they're the same ones preaching "treat others the way you wanna be treated".

I Am one of those Kids who does not like to do my homework and they always give us opportunities to turn it in if we make and 75% or lower they let us do a retest we can even use a slideshow to help us with some of the answers for a social studies retest and all the other teachers for the colts team let us do retests too.

I am a 7the grader in this school the teachers are very chill I am a colts team so the teachers here try there best to get us engaged and entertained and focus basically doing things they know we like so they can learn but also have fun.

I love this school mainly all my friends.I also love trying out for clubs and I even tutor some people if they need help in math I never raised my hand until I went to this school

I am a current student at NPMS and my experience has been good and bad. I have seen a few baby mice and one grown at this school. I understand that this can happen as this school is fairly old. However, the teachers here seem to know what they are doing. The students here are ok. There is some bullying but nothing too bad. The office Secretaries are kind. Now about the locker room i can only tell you about the female side and some things i heard about the male side. The female side does have girls just standing in the bathroom connected to the locker room. Also if you don't feel comfortable getting dressed you can get changed in the bathroom. Yet the cleanliness of the bathroom is disgusting at times on the male side all i have heard about is a parkour problem throughout the locker room. The gym teachers are extremely nice same with the other related arts teachers. Most student act very well and making friends isn't to hard for an introvert.

Love love love this school. The teachers are so helpful and my son has really enjoyed his year here. We look forward to another year.

I spent all 3 of my middle school years at this school (now a freshman @wchs). In 6th grade it was nice, i did have problems with one teacher so i was switched to another class. One complaint i have about this school is its cleanliness. Knowing how old this school is, they should take that into consideration and keep it nicer. In 6th grade a DEAD mouse was found in my friends locker. And i also remember little tiny baby mice running around my social studies class. Anyways, there is a lot of obedience problems there, and i have witnessed many people getting picked on/bullied with teachers doing nothing. Overall, most teachers are excellent.

So pleased, haven't had any trouble getting things addressed with Teachers, & once with the principal-Laura Barnett (she's the bomb). She handled the matter professionally and made sure that the substitute teacher involved wouldn't be subbing at any of the schools my children attend. The office Secretaries are WONDERFUL! Super friendly, love three staffs and have had great experience with ,3 children attending, 2 with special needs.

I have 2 children that attend 6th grade this school year @ New Providence Middle School. They love it. We are new to the neighborhood, so they didnt know any other kids going into this school. Their grades have improved and they are involved in many extracurricular activities. They have had no problems with any bullying or fighting. The teachers are great and they stay in touch with me if they have any concerns or if they have good things to say. I volunteer once in awhile for things at the school, so am able to see for myself what is happening. The only thing I would change is the dances they have right after school until 4pm. I think they should let the students come home first and then have the dance from like 5-7pm.

This is an overcrowded school! My child has had to deal with being bullied and the response to the bullying complaint did not produce any real results. My child was told to try to get along with the student that was bullying him and even placed on group projects with this student. Before the physcial bullying began Ihad spoken with a teacher about my concerns of derogatory & inappropriate racial name calling in the school and she stated that this is how teenagers play with each other. I pointed out that this was not appropriate in people of opposite nationalities and that was not the case. Also my child's teachers seem to be more concerned with being his friend than his teacher.

Okay I guess. I think my experience was so-so. I mean the teachers are great! But there are some weird students.. Though the lunch is always are funny because people make funny mixtures with there food!

Most of the teachers are great! The students are okay. I guess the only bad thing is that people will always curse at lunch and " claim " their seat.
