My son started out at Northeast middle school and then attended Northeast high school where he just graduated from a month ago, with honors. Over the years there have been several occasions with teachers being incredibly disrespectful to students and administration not communicating safety issues/concerns with students or parents. The kids at this school have not been given enough credit for their hard work and dedication to getting through high school in such a hectic environment that exists now. My son received over 200k in scholarships while being bullied by certain teachers who just didnt care for him. Teachers need to check their attitudes at the door and do their jobs. I would happily send my youngest daughter to NE if certain employees were let go. There are far worse schools in Clarksville. Northeast is in a great area, they offer a lot of extracurricular activities and I would recommend sending your kiddos here.

The teachers are not willing to help students. I missed a week of school due to being sick and was not able to make up the assignments in time frame provided (2 days). I was told that I would have to go to credit recovery because of the failing grades considering it was finals week and the end of the semester.

The quality of everything here is terrible. I've been attending this school for two years now, and I would strongly advise anyone reading this to send your children somewhere else. There are consistent fights in the hall and at lunch, I've seen drugs in children's bags and heard talk of them selling and buying in class while teachers were standing right next to them completely ignoring this happening. Many teachers are problematic, rude, disrespectful, and refuse to assist students in any way. Most of my classes have been set in a way where you have to teach yourself, find your own material to study and note, and hope that you learn what you needed to know. I have nothing good to say about this school, and neither do the people I've met here. The principal will call, email, and contact parents about things that aren't regarding their student in any way, to the extent where people end up blocking the number, it's insane. The staff does next to nothing about bullying, and teachers never step in when it's happening right in front of them. Aside from that, I've found mold in the food here, gotten juice past expiration, and received meals too stale to eat for lunch. Even teachers and students often get in arguments. Things inside are constantly dirty, I can guarantee that almost 95% of things in this facility absolutely never get cleaned, or replaced for that matter. Another glaring issue is that we arent dismissed when the time comes. I can confidently say we have only been allowed to leave on time a handful of times while Ive been here. They delay dismissal for things that have absolutely no impact on the people here. They also do not dismiss until all buses have arrived, even though there are sets of late buses that always come 15-30 minutes after dismissal anyways. This makes anyone walking, driving, or riding in another car inevitably later than otherwise expected. Ive been to plenty of schools and this is by far the worst one Ive ever encountered.

I have been here for half a year so far and I can say that there has been a terrible teaching system in my Science class, while others have been- Show up for class, copy notes from a presentation, than leave the class. It has been a terrible experience and I wish that I did not have to attend this school.

My daughter tells me everything and after this year we are moving because her future is the most important to me. I have never seen my child so drained after a day of school but this year was full of it. It was her first year at northeast and for one her GPA decreased so badly and she even wanted to give up. I began to see a depressing side of my child that I have never saw , and to me as a parent it was concerning.

My daughter had a class of about 14 people and the teacher ALLOWED everyone to be failing until the last day of the nine weeks and everyone magically passed.

my daughter has homework every night. I receive weekly emails from her teachers on the class lessons, assignments and changes. Helps me to hold my child accountable and ensure she stays on top of things.

Very pleased with the progress this school has made since moving here in 2008. Since Westcreek HS opened and the number of students were brought to a reasonable level, this school has thrived. Excellent new teachers have been brought in, academics have greatly improved and the sport programs are the best in the county. Coaches are also involved in stressing academics to players, no just having them eligible to play.

Would not recommend this school. It seems to me that the students run the place. No discipline, and no consequences for bad behavior. My stepdaughter consistently had bad grades throughout the year, and amazingly at the end of the year, she passed. What exactly is this teaching them? The schools need to stop passing students on to the next grade if they don't know the work. Stop being their "friend" and TEACH!!
