I read alot of the reviews and feel exactly the same as far as favortism. If you are not an athlete or friends or family members of staff than you are not treated the same! My son has already graduated but he would tell me daily that he would get yelled at about what he wore for the day and he said that "some" students get to wear the exact same thing and dont get punished for it. This was ongoing throughout his HS years. He hated going to school and I think if he had alittle more uplifting encouragement instead of nickpicking him for every little thing he would have flurished in school. He graduated with not even a 2.0. Now my daughter is in HS and has such anxiety about going. One of her teachers like to call her "small brained" and says something about her "bad character." If she asks a question about not understanding she is told that obviously she hasnt listed and that she needs to figure it out by going to some websites. Well maybe she just doesnt understand what has been taught and as a teacher I believe you are there to teach and encourage rather than pushing a student aside and tell them to figure it out on their own. She is also failing most of her classes bc she said alot of the teachers dont teach. They just stay on their phones and talk about random stuff.

I have seen a lack of caring and understanding from top leadership. the overall attitude among students is that the principal leaves a lot to be desired. The librarian is a very caring person and helpful as are a few other teachers.

Some are teaching college level instead of high school. Kids have a hard time following them and as a result make poor grades.

The principal at this school has made threats to students. They have cancelled fun activities, she has gone around to individual classrooms and lectured kids for not participating in activities. She has no understanding for kids who have on going medical or psychological problems, even with documentation from specialists. She has still threatened to kick kids out of her school. She does not try to understand anyone's circumstances unless they are her favorites.

The administration at ERHS could be stronger. There is a lack of professionalism at this school which starts with office workers and extends to teachers and upper level administrators. There is definitely favoritism shown toward certain students which is to be expected in a small town. However, the level of favoritism can get out of hand at times with students being allowed to do whatever they want during the school day. Additionally, some middle school and high school teachers are just burned out and it shows in their teaching methods and interactions with students and parents. The "5" rating given on this website is accurate which is unfortunate because the ranking could be so much higher with a different administration.

Well there are teachers that just dont care ! Teachers not teaching at all just throwing assignments at the kids when it was never explained.. Teachers that act like they care an want to help your child but yet afraid of the principal to stand up for themselves an the students ...

This school is a joke they try and get children to lie on other kids by scaring them so they will say what the principal wants them to say .. They dont believe in the children its their way or no way ..

I have three children at this school at first i thought it was a good school . but as time went on all three of my children complained that there are teachers that dont actually teach . teachers are arguing with students, teachers that say something is okay to do then when the principal enters the room they lie abd say they did not give permission. The principal and vice principal are nice at first then they become self centerd none caring disrespectful people who contradict everything they say.. Dont let them fool you they dont care for your children. The school needs a major upgrade just look around just last year they didn't even have doirs on the stalls in the boys restroom. Teachers go in the same restroom as the kids...id advise you to stay out of this school i wish my kids could go else where. Oh and if your child has a disability this is most definitely the wrong school..my friends child has a disability and they couldn't wait to get her child out of there..

East Robertson is a beautiful and clean school. The principals truly cares for the teachers and students. Coach Chatman and the other coaches require the athletes to focus on academics first, and they help prevent discipline problems in class for optimal learning to occur. The teachers work hard and have a real love of their students and subject area, and they take pride in themselves and show school spirit. I would like to see more parent involvement in the middle school. This is the first middle school we have attended that does not have a PTO. I hope someone will start one again soon.

There is a lot of small town poltics that goes on at this school . A student must have the correct last name or go to church with a teacher / coach or mom and dad should be friends with a teacher or coach. If not then your out of luck. A lot of favoritism goes on.As far as the conduct policy it doesn't apply to all students just the ones that don't have above listed. Most of the teacher's are so self absorb its crazy. You go there with a compliant and it goes in one ear & out the other. Now as far as the school being run down I don't agree. There are a few teachers whom come in a little early to tutor.

I find it laughable that anyone would rate this school positively in any way. I have Two children attending ERHS and it is underfunded, poorly staffed and run down. They seem to have no money for music/arts programs, no help for children needing tutoring, and seem to be against parental involvement unless of course it regards sports in any way. Dont attempt to visit or eat lunch with your child either, they dont have enough tables in the cafeteria. The school is run more like a juvinile detention center, or perhaps a prison. The Principal is often absent, and the vice principal seems overwhelmed with the job reqirements. robertson county schools are a terrible excuse for a learning facility. this school is anti- parent, and often overlooks its own policies, as if it has no regulations to follow. parent beware.
