Administration does not do their job and when I spoke with them they were rude and entitled. They ignore important issues within the school and they do not care about the well being of the students. The safety and security is terrible. The rules are backwards. Every issue that has come up here the principle and vice principle does nothing about it. They both were very condescending and do not have any place at a school. Poor school staff should b looked into. Also the food is unfit to eat, it is the worst quality food and my child cant eat it in fear of food poisoning because they serve expired meat and left overs. Theres also no nutritious food options its all junk food. Again they do not care about the well being of the students they only care about their paycheck. This school had several problems and lack of respect for families and students.

Iv had some great teachers but I have no respect for the principle or the vise principle who are totally fake and unprofessional. Disrespectful and are actually bias to certain students in their circle. Safety and security is terrible. Food here is very poor quality cheap food. I have to make my own lunch because they serve junk. This school is about money for the administration and not to better the students. Everything is revolved around it just for administration to get stuff for themselves. They over charge for yearbooks and ask students to pay for things the administration should be covering. Its a poor managed school. Needs new administration, new cafeteria management and more better teachers. Wish I could move to a better school with authority that knows how to manage a good school. :(

Terrible and unsafe for our students and teachers. The principal and assistant principle as well as other administrators I have met were very rude and conniving towards me. Insulted my intelligence as a parent and ignored the problem in their school. They have no business holding a position of authority unfortunately. Very unprofessional and extremely rude and dishonest. Iv met some teachers here and they are very good people but not administration. Since Im not allowed to state whats really going on here all I can say is things are allowed at this school with the knowledge of administration with no accountability. After I found out what is happening here I was shocked how disconnected the administration is to caring for our children and students here. If you ever try to address a problem or "incident" that has happened here the principle and basic administration will blow you off and show no concern. They were very rude and smerky with me and I even was hung up on the phone when I asked about a safety concern regarding my child involved. They are not taking any responsibility for the lack of safety and security. They do not care about the students it should be unacceptable. It is sickening the kind of people have taken over this school.

The atmosphere in this school fosters hate. If you are a minority, this school and its students will not have respect/compassion for you.

When Someone is reported for calling another student racial or homophobic slurs and harassing them, the offender gets a "stern talking to" instead of an actual punishment

I'm proud to say I have a daughter that graduated and a son that will graduate from CCCHS this year. This school has come so far over the past few years. The teachers/staff are wonderful to work with. Their first priority is the students. They have developed such a great environment for the students, its wonderful just walking through the doors. There is always something student/teacher related happening. If you're new to the county, please check out their social media and you will understand.

My child has had a good experience here at CCCHS. I have no problem communicating with the school and they value my input which I appreciate. You can tell there is change happening for the positive. Staff seems happier to be there and children as well. I would love for this school to receive a facelift of some sort although I understand that takes time. I think every school can be picked apart if you try but I believe this school it trying to be a positive force in this community.

My daughter has done well at Cheatham County High. It is a small community and I think the school could do more to assist the kids with finding scholarships and preparing for college but, I do understand not every kid will choose the college path. They are improving the honors program and AP classes but, it's a work in progress. I would say for a small town, country high school it's not bad. I hope they continue to improve in the future. They need more parent support and improve the sports programs. They do not provide transportation for the cross country team or the track teams and I'm sure other sports also. I think there is room for improvement but funding is an issue. When you live in a rural community this is a problem you run into. Overall I am satisfied with this school.

Teacher turnover is high especially this year. No honors classes, No AP classes. Clubs are not allowed to meet so there is no point in joining one. No real leadership. Communication with parents is lacking. Website is empty. I wish I had researched this school district before moving here. Word of mouth about a school is not always the most reliable way to choose a school. My biggest regret.

High teacher turnover. No stability. Lack of leadership. Failing opportunities for high student achievers. Undervalued and unsupported extra curricular activities. Lack of respect from the administration for student body achievement. Until there are new School Board members and a REAL Director of Schools, look elsewhere to educate your child.

CCCHS is such a great school . This is the type of school you would most definitely want your kids to come to . They have great curriculum activities for your child . CCCHS is truly amazing !

I have had a problem with this school for years. It is horrible. Students struggle here because they are not being taught anything. They need to get a grip on their students and teachers. Communication from faculty to parents is horrible. Someone needs to take control and make this school a better learning portal for our children. In the past they have lost seniors credits, had students arrested for silly things that could have been handled diffrently and set silly rules for our children to follow. There is so much more they need to worry about like the graduation rate. DO SOMETHING FOR OUR CHILDREN NOW!

I'm a parent of a senior this year and I would have to say that overall my dealings with CCCHS have been unsatisfactory. The counselor has been less than helpful and when a complaint was raised to the principal, excuses were made. I'm thankful that I have several years to go before I have another entering high school and hope that things are better by that point. My son has told me numerous times that his counselor is pretty much "unavailable" when he has questions. Communication is horrible and why have a website if you're not going to keep it updated for parents to reference. There is a broadcast message system in place in the county, why not use it to notify parents of important dates, etc.
