I have one child enrolled and she likes the school. It's safe, clean, she respects her teachers. She hates the lunch options. Transportation dept issues at times, but not the schools fault.

Not happy. We sadly had to move from another TN school district and did not know what we we're leaving behind. Us and many we've talked to have commented how bad PVES staff is. We're looking at private school now. This school/district is years behind in grading structure and learning methods. Really sad.

PVES is second to none! The teaching staff gives everything they have to ensure each child has an amazing experience and appreciates the importance of education. The Principal goes far and beyond the expectations of the role to make every child feel appreciated and look forward to coming to school each day. In the 8 years we have had children at PVES, we have had nothing but positive experiences.

My child has had nothing but great teachers, principal and experiences the past 2 years she has been at this school.

They are attentive to the needs of each child and don't make them feel like they are different if they have different abilities.

My daughter's teacher sends homework home when needed. She doesn't want to bog the child down with repetitive papers that they aren't focused on!

My Children have always had loving, caring and effective teachers each year at PVES. The staff is pleasant and supportive and my children are challenged and learning. The school provides a safe environment and we are very pleased with the education our children are receiving there.

PVES has been great for my children. They teachers push them to do their best and provide extra resources when needed. I love the small classes. The principal has always gone above and beyond to answer any questions I have had. The PTO has excelled and continue to offer after school activities each year.

All the teachers my children have had always go above and beyond to make sure the kids are learning.

My children do have a lot of homework each night. There is not much free time to play after they get home.

The homework we deal with every night is about the same as what we dealt with in Williamson County and in Los Angeles and in Florida.

The teachers set a great example and integrity is a frequent topic of discussion. It helps that the entire community is made up of good people.

Amazing teachers and staff. Great facilities. A very warm and welcoming environment in a great community. Our children are very happy here and we will stay until they both graduate.

Absolutely love PVES! While my son has only attended kindergarten, I'm excited for first grade. The staff is very friendly. Mr. Keith Miller is an amazing principal. He is very active not only in the school, but also the community. He's the only principal I've seen standing outside the school, in the rain, waving, and assisting kids into the school with an umbrella.

I went to this school, and only after I changed to another school afterwords did I realize how terrible this school is.

My school is a great school for children with and without special needs. The school goes above and beyond to make sure the kids enjoy learning every day. They make sure they are in a safe and happy environment.

I have to agree with the June 1, 2013 post. My child constantly scored several grades above her grade level but only because I worked with her at home and she went to an excellent preschool. PVES would not even consider letting her skip a grade - they needed her scores to counteract the scores of the other kids in her class. She was also given the worst teachers each year. One year, she had 3 teachers. The only good teacher she ever had at PVES was straight out of college and had yet to be corrupted by the lazy attitude that seems to prevail over there. Because of that, she was bored at school. I finally moved her to a private school where she has excelled.

We moved to PV about 3 years ago and it seems very clear by the staff that unless you have lived in Pleasant View your whole life you will not getr the good teacher. My child had a great K year the teacher was amazing but after that she was never pushed and didnt learn anything. She went backwards. She had a teacher tell her that she didnt have to test because she would get an A anyway. My child loved school until she hit first grade and was no longer pushed. This school does not push kids to reach beyond what a passing grade is.... so sad.

This is absolutely a fabulous school. I can't say enough about the the teachers, support staff, principal, office gals..Top notch. Mr Keith Miller the Principal is great with the children

It is one of the most hands on greatest schools you can ask for. The complete staff is hands on, understanding and friendly. The school is designed for the kids to enjoy learning eveyday. The design in the hallways are amazing. The field trips and monthly activites for the school are amazing. I would recommend this school to anyone. I have enjoyed every year my children have atteneded.
