If you're thinking about sending your kid to PVCS because you want them to make good friends or thrive in a supportive environment, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I went there from 2020 to 2022 and graduated from the school. My sister and I both felt like outsiders the entire time. The students who have been there since kindergarten have their tight cliques locked in, and they do not really make an effort to include new kids in groups, activities, or anything else. It is not that they are all mean. Some are fine. But the vibe is very you are either one of us or you are not. I also would not recommend it if your child has any special needs or disabilities. I have AUDHD (ADHD plus autism) and it was rough. Every time I tried to talk to people or join in, I got made fun of or heard about the whispers behind my back. Socializing was already hard for me, and the school made it worse. The teachers are all over the place too. A few were genuinely good and tried their best, but others were straight up terrible and made the whole experience even more frustrating.

If your a parent reading this please remember this is a students direct experience, you would be better off sending them to a different private school or just keeping them in public.

The administration was consistently rude to me. They made everything difficult, even the most basic request. The high school principal even blatantly lied to me, telling me he was not available to handle my question and I called to speak to him after he said he was out of the building on a field trip- and his assistant told me he was right there in his office.
Blatant lies, being difficult for no reason- I do not recommend placing your children in the hands of people who behave like this!!!
They label themselves as “Christians” yet model behavior more like Judas.
If the highest order of the organization cannot be trusted, cannot be truthful, cannot be kind and helpful: than what behaviors are they molding and teaching the children?!!!!!
Beware!

We have had the best experience from pre-k to graduation at PVCS! They prepared our child for college (“it’s much easier than high school”) and his ACT score earned him several academic scholarships. Above that though, the teachers gave him support and guidance that was invaluable. Those relationships continue beyond school and have had a positive impact on his future. I would recommend it to all parents.

Our children have been at PVCS for a couple years now and have grown tremendously during that time. Our son was not reading on grade level in public school and PVCS has helped him not only improve academically, but he is now performing above grade in almost every subject. The teachers are loving and caring and there are so opportunities available for students to pursue different interests. Tuition is low compared to Nashville private schools and let me tell you it is worth every penny. We love PVCS!

As I look at some of the negative reviews, I do not understand how they feel the way that they do. We came to PVCS from Robertson County Public Schools and could not be happier. PVCS welcomed our family with open arms. The classes that our daughter is taking are so much more advanced than Public Schools. She does not have the "woke" way of thinking crammed down her throat. PVCS has a tremendous Christian conservative atmosphere, and I find the negative reviews baseless and without merit. If someone has an issue, they should address it with the staff and not spread unfounded statements in a confidential forum.

I would not recommend this school to anyone with a head attached to their neck. The teachers are under qualified, the students do not learn anything but religion, and having an education is not a priority. The tuition is astronomical and I simply cannot stand for such a harsh environment. My children have told me countless times about favoritism among teachers, whether that be individual students, or even grade levels. My child’s dismissal time has even been pushed back greatly, which I’m not even sure is legal. The only hope this school has was the headmaster, and he has now stepped down. I will not stay to see the principal take his place. My children will be homeschooled next year due to these insane policies.

My children went to two different schools prior to relocating, and attending PVCS the last few years has been, by far, the best experience they have ever had. They have teachers who love them enough to encourage, correct, and support them as needed. There are opportunities for all of their God given gifts and interests to be expanded through sports, fine arts, clubs, and many other leadership and social opportunities. But most importantly, they are taught how to be Christ followers. Teachers do not shy away from high interest cultural topics and lead the students back to Scripture for their basis for truth. The depth and frequency of our Biblical conversations in our home has increased since placing our children in this school. Our only regret is that we did not put our children at Pleasant View Christian School sooner!

2022/2023 school year
- huge tuition jump for 2023/2024 school year. About a $1,000 per student. Administration justifies this for faculty salary increases which I don't have a problem with this, but then the "Head master" and Principal hire their friends into positions with no real qualifications.
- Greatest concern for the Administration is growing the size of the school not improving the school.
- Following publc school system model of almost no textbooks. Everything is online or free website printouts that the teachers distribute.
- nepotism / favortism : Worst that I have ever seen it right now.
- More kids in this school struggling with sexual orientation than ever before. Includes kids that try to actively recruit others. Administration downplays this.
- Bible teacher that is a Social activist. Uses his class to push his own ideaologies.
- A "Head Master" and Prinicpal that hide behind the school board and the school board hides behind them. Couldn't even tell you who's on the school board and you can't get that info from the school.

They are only about collecting tuition. A good school for isolating and a child to learn religion but when it comes to education not so much. IT's 50/50 but I can't blame most of the teachers it would be hard to be motivated on their salary

My child has attended PVCS since kindergarten and a few years ago we were planning to transfer to another private school for the next school year. I was just not happy with the direction that PVCS was going - downhill, and fast. Luckily the then-headmaster left mid-year. When that happened, we decided to try one more year as the new headmaster was making positive changes. I'm so glad we didn't jump ship. Dr. Buck has done a wonderful job at the school and really turned things around.

Very pleased with the school. The new headmaster has made a lot of changes since he started and is doing an excellent job.
