The school has teachers with absurd teaching skills and tons of favoritism. The rules and teaching are about them self with barely any care.

The teachers are nice but the students aren't, its a toxic environment for children and if you want to have a good learning experience you would have to have a healthy environment of students, but this school doesn't offer that. The rule's are absurd. Some of them don't make sense. Students are not allowed to eat outside and make us stay in a compacted gym where P.E class, lunch, and prayer take place in the same area. There isn't enough tables for everyone since half of the gym is taken over by highschoolers who are playing basketball. The prices of the school lunch are absolutely crazy. The tuition is very expensive which I don't mind, but the school lunch should atleast be free due to the price of the tuition. It is also unsafe for the children since there are no fences and there are houses and apartments surrounding the school. Dogs have been found at the school which is completely unsafe. Not to mention the water fountains at the school are always unclean. The filter status is always on red and undrinkable for the kids. The filter is hardly ever changed. My children are always complaining about wanting to be taken out the school and I cannot take it anymore. Thank you for your time and i hope this review was helpful

The school has an alarming number of unqualified teachers. This applies to math , science and language arts. High school is a mess. They are not receptive to feedback and wont take any criticism

The philosophy of school is to educate young Muslims who will serve the local, national and global community as contributing citizens. Multiple initiatives focused on feeding the needy, student tutoring for younger grades, mentoring at school events (high school students leading younger students at Hajj Fair) enable strong character development.

Multiple teachers with Advanced Degrees and PhDs with ability to provide Honors, AP and College equivalent course credit. Overall, experienced and motivated teaching staff.

I have been a parent at this school for over 10 years and have currently 3 children attending at various grades. The environment is very positive, encouraging students to achieve their best in academics, giving back to community and developing leadership skills. Due to ability to provide individualized attention, the students are able to get coaching and mentoring guidance they need. Established school with 20 years of serving the local Memphis community. Go PVS Panthers!

The school lets the middle and high school students take responsibility for the elementary kids during the hajj fair

This school is terrible. I would not even say it is Islamic. The teachers continuously yell at the students for not getting a hundred percent on every piece of work they are given. There is a lot of homework and my child always comes home doing homework the whole time. They never even get to eat their lunch. The uniform is also too strict. My child was wearing a grey sweater and was told it was to colorful. The only reason my child still goes to this school is because it is close to our house.

Children who need extra attention to complete the assignments are left behind and always picked on. They are labeled for their inability to do the work or even the fact that they need more attention. The Principal was very unhelpful and made no attempts to fix the problem. He didn t bother to respond to my emails or my phone numbers. When my child receives a bad grade on any subject, the teachers don t care and don t attempt to work with the student to help him/her improve. I am sick and tired of their unprofessionalism. I am glad I was able to find another school for my children.

My daughter graduated from the school a few years ago. She was well prepared for college and was able to secure full scholarship in one of the west schools in TN. She attended the school since she was in KG. I am grateful to all the teachers and staff and for the principal for her support.
