Immaculate Conception School

I'd like for parents who plan on enrolling their children in this school to know what it's actually all about. It fails to provide the kind of environment students deserve all around. The campus itself is poorly maintained, which makes it feel neglected and uninviting. On top of that, there are little to no meaningful programs or opportunities for students to grow academically, spiritually or personally. What’s even more disappointing is the behavior of of the principal and few of the teachers. they don’t lead by example and often act unprofessionally, even gossiping about students. As a Catholic school, it claims to stand for strong morals and values, but those principles aren’t reflected in how the school is actually run. Overall, it creates a negative atmosphere that makes it hard to feel supported or inspired. I've seen countless issues brought up by my peers and their parents, just to be completely ignored. Some students get special treatment while others get ignored or belittled, and guess why; it all comes down to money. Some children can act however they wish and not get told a single word about it because their parents are "so involved in the community". At the end of the day, each child should be treated equally. The staff (the principal especially) should conduct themselves at higher standards and act on a more professional level.

We'll have 3 students at St. Mary's this year (now called Immaculate Conception School), and continue to be so happy with the school! Our older children will be in 9th, 11th, and 12th grade this year, and all went through St. Mary's also. They had great experiences there, and transitioned to high school beautifully both socially and academically. The small class sizes, very caring teachers, and nurturing environment allow for development of individual potential as well as a great feeling of community. It's a terrific place for children to spend their days!
