I am looking forward to having my son back at Olivia’s for Summer Camp. Our family travels to Memphis in the Summer and my son cannot wait to get to Olivia’s! The facility is shady and gorgeous. We are nature enthusiasts and we love the grounds. My son loves the science experiments, outdoor sensorial play and is always happy to be going there.

Olivia's Montessori School is giving our son the best foundation. He attended another private preschool at age 3, cried in the mornings on our way to school and never smiled at his former teacher. He began attending OMS at age 4, and he tells us without any prompting, "Mommy I love my school." His curiosity has been lovingly nurtured here. Olivia follows the Montessori principles closely with a healthy level of structure, including the value of helping others and learning to see oneself as a vital part of community. As a result our son and his classmates truly enjoy helping out. Teaching children is definitely Olivia's calling in life, and it shows. We are learning from her ways as well, such as how to communicate more effectively with a busy preschooler! The children have foreign language lessons; they learn about geography, the solar system, basic human anatomy, and beautiful songs. The parent involvement is excellent. Our greatest hope is that we will find a school for our son after kindergarten that nurtures his heart and love for learning as much as Olivia and her wonderful assistants have. We will be proud yet sad to leave when he graduates from kindergarten here.

The best school period. If you want a daycare this is not the place for you. If you want a preschool where children learn and play outdoors and have a nurturing environment, this is the place for you. All three of my children have attended OMS. IT IS AMAZING! My kids come home naming the planets, discussing various countries, and reading. The whole approach to MONTESSORI teaches children the why behind what they are learning. Yes, Olivia has lots of rules but this is to keep your children safe and keep order. She will not discuss your child in front of them but she is always available for a meeting. Parent meetings are held monthly and you will be amazed if you attend. This is a gem in Bartlett. You will not be disappointed.

This is a wonderful school! It is a home away from home for the kids - and all the families are very friendly and involved. The atmosphere is so inviting for the children to explore, play and learn. I am so thankful we found this school and considered it a gift from God for our child!

Having our son attend Olivia's Montessori School was one of the best decisions we ever made! He enjoyed his schooling from preschool through kindergarten. He learned so much, and he has carried wonderful memories of his younger days with him all these years. Joseph Allen is a "grown up" now, and he still keeps in touch with Ms. Olivia Flasdik. Our family would recommend Olivia's Montessori School to anyone who wanted the best education and school experience for their child.

Thank goodness for Olivia's Montessori Preschool. Our eldest child, (and many, many other fortunate children), got the best start possible with Olivia Flasdick. We are so proud to know this outstanding educator and we will never, ever forget her generosity, kindness and and her best of the best preschool.

I have had three children, a niece and nephew and two cousins attend this school. It has always been a fantastic place to send your child at a very critical and young age. They are exposed to many things and stay true to the ways of montessori teachings. The owner and staff are always kind, fair and committed to developing and nuturing a love of learning. You could not do any better than Olivia's Montessori School for your preschooler.

Ms. Flasdick's school is outstanding. Our son spent two summers there at ages 2 and 4. The attention he received combined with the school's structured program resulted in a significant improvement in his school work and overall attitude towards learning. I highly recommend Olivia's Montessori school.

My five year old is attending this school and I cannot say how much I experience the hard work and dedication of Olivia and her staff. He's been raised dual language and when he started preschool his speech was delayed. He also was the worst picky eater I ever even heard off. The school and teachers have gone out of their way to accommodate him and it shows. Two years of Olivia's Montessori and he has caught up in his speech, gotten more adventurous with his food choices. Due to its small size the school and its staff frequently will be able to give more individual attention and care to children then many of the larger (and often more expansive ones). It also creates an environment where you are made to feel about the school like an extended family rather than an organisation. I would and recommend this school to anyone, friends, family and all.

We are in our 3rd and final year at Olivia's. I'm so grateful to have found such an amazing program. My daughter has been exposed to three different languages throughout the years thanks to the wonderful parent body and owner's mom. The staff has always been open and kind. Our experience at Olivia's has been wonderful. If I could get away with it, I would have my daughter repeat kindergarten so that we could stay.

I was a student at Olivia's two decades ago. The staff's attention and care was unparalleled--students were given latitude to learn and teach with the perfect amount of supervision and guidance from mentors. The brilliance of the methods at this school are amazing; if I ever have children, I dearly hope Olivia will still be accepting students. I've made it to NYC at a global consultancy, and I can attritube much of my socialization and worldliness to beginning with my time at Olivia's. She is truly an amazing Memphis gem, and anyone would be remiss to not consider sending their child(ren) there.

My daughter attend this school 3 years ago. She really blossomed under the caring attention of the staff. She still brings up fond memories and lessons she learned while there. I have recommended this school to many parents, and continue to do so.

Quality education for preschoolers! I had 2 sons attend from 3 years old through kindergarten. It is like a family. The headmistress gave our kids and our whole family a lifetime of ideas to nurture inquisitive minds and quality community values.

My daughter attended Olivia's and has excelled throughout her elementary and middle school years. She is involved in Beta Club and National Junior Honors Society due to the nurturing and educational atmosphere at this school. I could not be more pleased at the investment I made in her preschool years. I thank Olivia every time I see her because I strongly believe this investment has helped form my daughter into who she is today.

This school focuses on developing the whole child. They are actively engaged in learning all day, and I was particularly impressed by the independence the children displayed.

I enrolled my daughter in January of 2013 at 3 within 1 year she has been exposed to Chinese (which she decided to only speak to me one evening in), French, and Spanish. She talks about world leaders, counts to 100, by 10s, recites and writes entire alphabet, and continues to ask for spelling words and math at home. The school teaches through experiences not just sitting at a desk. The recycling lesson included children learning about recycling, bringing in recycling items, using the recycled items for a vase and visited a recycling center - now our daughter explains recycling. This is a school not a daycare so there are expectations to include schedules, snacks, lunches, etc. The parent involvement is amazing - the amount of parental involvement demonstrates the quality of a school! I am enrolling her in the kindergarten class because of the small student-teacher ratio. I also put both my kids in summer camp at OMP. They come home dirty and tired every night but most importantly HAPPY! We love OMP and all the staff!

My granddaughter attended this school for the 4 and 5 year old program. When we went for the initial interview, I could tell already it was going to be a great experience. She felt very loved, and learned so much. It was perfect for her learning style and I was impressed by the quality of instruction. Even now, when we pass the school, she tells me how much she misses it and wishes she could go back. I have nothing but praise for this school.

Former student checking in! I attended Olivia's Preschool from start to finish (how long was that, two years or three?), and I firmly believe my days there shaped the foundation of my character today. Though I was young, some of my happiest memories are from that school, and I made lifelong friends. When I moved to a private school after graduating kindergarten (we got to pick the color of our graduation gown!), my reading level was two levels higher than other students in my class. Olivia is the warmest, most kind and generous person I have ever met. I was happy to see her again at a reunion/party a few years ago, and she has not changed a bit. If you want your child to have some of his/her first experiences in an open-minded environment where each and every child is encouraged to be themselves and love one another, look no further.

My daughters attended this school for a total of 4 years. This is a true Montessori school... not a daycare, so be prepared for a bit of culture shock in the beginning. My girls received the most wonderful foundation for their educational journeys at OMPS. They were exposed to Spanish, French and sign language, were encouraged to be independent learners and creative thinking students. The teachers loved, nurtured, and encouraged all of the students. Parent involvement is a huge part of OMPS and my husband and I loved the opportunities to share experiences with our children and build close relationships with the other families. My girls continue to compare every teacher to Olivia and her life lessons continue to resonate with them as the grow. We used both the After Care and Summer Camp programs and I loved the fact that my girls were busy and stimulated ALL day. They came home dirty from the playground and tired and with story after story from their busy day. I cannot recommend this program enough!

Other than the two very sweet extra teachers, not very impressed. Removed our 3 year-old after half a year. Naps are too short for littles (1 hr 15 mins) and no blanket allowed in a cold building. Often, my child would be photographed in his coat, INSIDE the building. And he would complain that he was cold during nap. Also, very strict and/or inconsistent policies, emphasized by rude and condescending mass emails from the owner. My husband, who is very relaxed, finally made the decision to remove our child after he started to being fearful about going to school. Lastly, after discussion of our particular situation concerning drop-off due to our 2 other children's schedule, owner reneged on agreement, yet kept our deposit for the month and for the next school year. Very unprofessional, sorry to say, as we had high hopes.

We have been with Olivia for four years. Enrolling my kids in this preschool was one of the best parenting decisions I have ever made. My kids have excelled at Olivia's Montessori academically and socially. Each of my children have very distinct personalities, fortunately the Montessori emphasis on individual learning styles allowed both of them to thrive. The staff treat the kids with respect and dignity while requiring the kids to do the same. I have spoken to the majority (if not all) of the parents over the last four years and all of us consider ourselves lucky to have such excellent care for our children.
