This school is so fun and makes learning feel exciting about learning new things. All my teachers are kind and help me understand even deeper in my education. We have activities that are really fun and learning is engaging with English, math etc. I feel safe at my school because I see security every day and they are really kind to me and they patrol this halls and make sure we are safe and ensure our safety.

I used to go to this school for almost 2 school years they never can have just one principal. 5 principals in one school year. Staff doesn’t care about their students as I was a student who was always in the office pleading for help either from bullying, classes or just my mental health. They discriminate and the students there are horrible. Teachers there are sex offenders.. and just horrible system. My worst years of high school was at KA!

this school absolutely sucks. they don’t care about education AT ALL, if your out of dress code you have to stay in the office all day & if smb doesn’t bring you extra clothes then that’s a whole day wasted???? they have priorities and it’s definitely not education like it should be , and they make random holes in the bathrooms because they cannot afford to paint over some peeled paint? and to see us through the outside , basically invasion of privacy . we get locked in a cafeteria ?? #split up , and think it’s okay because we have a tiny door to get out of . all the teachers are horrible and are always stereotyping students . some freshman’s can’t even read… literally so embarrassing. this school sucks and is not recommended at all. do not send your child here

This school i bad for yout children. They cannot keep teachers that they hire. It has been like that for a couple of years. There is holes in the bathroom wall that they cannot afford to fix so they added a "window" inside the bathroom. The school lunch has also been questionable with them only serving us pizza and sandwhiches. Another problem with this schooll is that the office does nothing about ANY of your problems. they say that they will do something about it but nothing ever happens. i would not recommend this school for any new students thinking about coming here

DO NOT send your child here! This school is horrible and way to strict.. they have gave my child hella homework with no type of teaching. My child has not learned anything since he has been here! The teachers here are also rude asf to these kids. My son’s friends got him parents called for just asking what time do they leave!! Not to mention how all the kids there aren’t even lasting they are all transferring to a public school like cane ridge, Antioch, etc. Please do not send your child here unless you want them to be miserable and depressed all day.

Well Was in this school for 1 month and I have to say some things, First Of All, no library, no restroom hand sanitizer, poor academic learning/teachers make you sit at the computer all day, teachers really don't care about what you do Fights Usually happen in front of the class, one time a kid tried to throw a pencil at my eye and when I went to the office to report him I came back to my class and the teachers were mad at me, Thats When I had The Last Nerve I went to my house and, told my Mom everything, plus there are no windows in the 5th-grade class or clocks so it makes it very boring in there, NEVER SEND YOUR CHILD THERE, ITS UNSAFE

This school has way too many fights and the saftey of the children is almosrt not existent, Disrespectful people and teachers that act like nothing is happening.

My daughter went there for 3 months and the teacher's were mean didn't help with school work they just want the kids to sit on computers all day. Office staff was childish and unprofessional.

Posted: November 20, 2018

Teacher's were extremely mean to the kids and do not want to be bothered with them.

Posted: November 20, 2018

There is no leadership at this school. Office staff members were unprofessional and I was told my daughter would get extra help if she struggled but she didn't get any help with anything she was expected to already know everything.

Posted: November 20, 2018

They are expected to know the work. The teacher's do not want to teach.

Posted: November 20, 2018

Not good at all. My daughter became depressed after being there just 3 months. Now that she is in a public school she is much happier and doing a lot better academically. Do not send your kid here.

Posted: June 26, 2017

Some teachers assign more homework than others, but it is more or less consistent with what we have experienced at other schools.

Posted: June 26, 2017

The faculty and staff here have good intentions, and I truly believe they have the students’ best interests at heart. My concern is the high turnover. As of this past year, there were only maybe 2 or 3 teachers in the entire school (grades 5-10) who have been at KA longer than two years. There were also several teachers who quit mid-year, resulting in those classes being covered by substitutes. Perhaps this is why the school’s test scores are so much lower than the state average.

Posted: June 26, 2017

The school has many after school activities for the students and the community. The teachers and administrators encourage participation and truly seem to care about the students.

Posted: June 26, 2017

High teacher turnover and changes in administration and faculty mid-year make me think there are problems at the highest levels of the school. I also feel like the administration's desire to promote their school can, at times, result in misleading information. For example, I attended several parent meetings where administrators mentioned small class size, but the average class size this past year was more like 25-32, depending on the class. (When I asked a teacher about the 17:1 this stat that was being promoted, she said that number comes from the total number of teachers and staff in the building compared to the total number of students - not actual class sizes.) While this one instance isn't a huge deal, this example is just one of many that led to an overall feeling of distrust.

Posted: June 26, 2017

While I do not have a child in the special education program, I understand that one of the special education teachers quit in the middle of the year because the school doesn't provide the additional resources necessary for the students in this program.

Posted: June 26, 2017

I don't have experience in this area.

Posted: June 26, 2017

Overall, the teachers and administration have an apparent desire to help students. However, this does not make up for the disruption caused by high turnover and changes to the teaching and administrative staff mid-year. While I had high hopes for Knowledge Academies, I was ultimately disappointed with the inconsistent teaching and below-average test scores. We will not be returning for the 2017-2018 school year.

Posted: May 8, 2017

As with most middle and high schools, there are areas for improvement. However, my child's teachers are compassionate, attentive, and communicate with me. The school holds frequent community events that benefit students and parents. My son is happy here and enjoys learning at school.

Posted: April 2, 2017

All kinds of Problems are at this so called "school". Its Extremely Disorganized and the food is disgusting. The Staff never listens to the student's opinion. The student safety in my opinion is horrendous. Bullying is constant and the teachers brush it off like its not their problem. When a student or a group of students get in trouble, the whole class or grade gets in trouble for doing absolutely nothing.
The Students don't get a good amount of education. They only have 2 AP Courses, unlike other schools which have 20-30 courses. They put the SPED kids run wild and not discipline them. Finally, they ask for your course options and they completely ignore that. Honestly, this school should be shut down

Knowledge Academy started out being a potentially great school. However it is very unfortunate that the school does not have well qualified teachers or staff. Mostly all of the teachers are quite young and have little to no experience. Arthur Fuller (Principal)is never around and leave staff that are unqualified to oversee the happenings within the school. If you have a child who has an IEP, I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for quality education, as the school staff are already untrained and their frustrations grow quite high when dealing with children who have an IEP.
