I would highly recommend this school to any parent,I love the way the teachers teach there an the way the school is setup as far as safety an dismissal.I Wish we could get more buses an transportation for those kids that are zoned in 37208 area, but overall my kids excel tremendously since they left Robert churchwell not bashing or nothing,Im just saying I've seen a big improvement in my kindergarden an 1st grader since they have been at Rocketship, love this school.

Horrible. This school need a whole new staff to turn around. The current principal doesnt even have a Doctorate in education. The staff is always changing, because the teachers are always quitting. The teachers admit theyre unhappy at the school and recommended I remove my kids to excel.

There is no homework. You dont find out your child is struggling until mid year after NWEA tests.

The teacher/ parent relationship is non existent. Unlike normal schools, they wait until a problem is too bad to fix to inform you.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude to the students. I overheard a teacher yelling at child in front of the entire class calling him a thief. A conversation that shouldve been had in private if it were indeed true.

When you raise concerns to the principal or operation manager (bus manager) they always deflect the situation as if its no big deal or make promises to fix the situation, but never follow through.

They create IEPs, but never provide the additional resources they promise.

Kids are not properly (if at all) punished for bullying other kids. Parents are only contacted when theres physical evidence.

My child has attended this school for two years now. The kindergarten teachers are amazing. The first grade teachers are average. My biggest issue with this school is the administration and their office associates. They fail to make due on promises, they are unprofessional, and just don't seem to be equipped to run a school. Initially I contributed these issues to it being a new school, but there have been no improvements this year. In fact it's gotten worse. I will be removing my child from the school for the upcoming school year.

We enrolled our grandson in Rocketship school after attending a public school that failed him. I'm excited to report that he has learn more in 7 months at Rocketship than 2 years he attended his other school. He started Rocketship reading below level now his love for reading is so strong every week we buy new chapter books at 4rd grade level, He's in 2nd grade. He has excelled academically in all subjects. Thank you Nashville for giving struggling school districts a choice.... I applaud you!
