I would not recommend this school I have been shoved, slapped and kicked all because I'm small i have been made fun of since day one kids act like they are in a gang and most kids here get sent to juvi. I have gotten OSS from being guilty by association BUT a kid that was also in on it didn't get any punishment at ALL i would not recommend this school to parents i have see more fights in this school than i have seen on WWE and that says a lot. one kid even had scissors in her hand trying to kill another kid

DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL. Teachers do not care whether or not a student fails, they do not communicate with the parents at all about the children’s education just when your child is doing something they find wrong or offensive. The administration does nothing but support the teachers in all of this they don’t care what a parent has an issue with. If the teacher or administration is found doing wrong your child STILL gets in trouble they will come out with different excuses just to punish. They claim they cannot help a student with anything unless they are diagnosed with a disorder. They set the kids off for failure don’t even allow students to makeup work that is missing or if they do they don’t give them credit for it. Horrible horrible school to send your kids too.

The school is moderate... but things that are unforgivable happen here. I got Injured from a bullying situation was couldn't go to school for weeks. And I told the teachers all the time and they always brushed it off. I was pushed into the streets and barley could move my arm. The crazy part is that she is still aloud in school. Teachers allow people too say the N word and come after gay people and it's willy nilly but when someone says shut up its a bad word. If you want to go you can but i serously don't recoment it.

Simply, there's a BUNCH of discrimination and teachers do NOTHING AT ALL about it. Yes I'm being serious. Kids are always saying slurs about other races and gay people. Most teachers don't respond and or communicate with families. The bathrooms are always dirty and destroyed. The busses are WAY to crowded and so much shouting(I always get headaches). The punishments for being rude and or hurting other people is never enough for any of the other kids. The only somewhat good things are the test scores. BUT, sadly my parents won't listen.

Some teachers care, some are awful. There isn't really an in between. The principal of this school is awful and micromanages everything. Advanced students are not cared for and there are multiple physical fights during school hours. The busses are overcrowded, as well as the school. Last year, there wasn't enough lockers for everyone, so some people had to leave their belongings in their homeroom teachers' classes. Boys were distributing sanitary products to their friends and nobody did anything about it, even though females were being harassed. I would strongly urge you not to attend this school if you can help it.

Any issues (not directly related to the school) we have come across have been addressed in a timely manner. We were really nervous about our child starting middle school (because you do not know what to expect), but our worries subsided after the first week. The communication with the teachers have been the best we’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend this school.

Our son has been called the "N" word repeatedly! This is being taught at home. I am disappointed in the lack of response from the leadership. I reached out to the guidance counselors and never received a response!

I was truly disappointed w/ our experience. I am a teacher, & I was not pleased with the level of communication from the teachers (although not always bad) but I was very disappointed (HUGE understatement!) from the lack of respectful treatment from the principal Mrs. Harris. I have never been treated so poorly, so flippantly or so carelessly by anyone ever. She refused to meet with me or return phone calls and made it difficult and next to impossible to handle important matters w/ my child. I am sure she justified her behavior & lack of professionalism but I am shocked that she has garnered any respect from the community or her staff. She left me disappointed & with my hands tied & I ended up having to have the situation handled by the school board who was shocked by her lack of communication. They were friendly, & professional, & the situation was ultimately handled with care and professionalism by the more experienced, more mature & quite frankly, more kind people. I cannot fathom how a mother can treat another mother (& concerned parent) the way she treated me. It was a truly disheartening experience & I hope no one ever treats her the way that she treated me.

After moving to Clarksville a couple of years ago, we made the mistake of enrolling our son into a private school. This year, we switched to Rossview, and we are very happy that we have made the change! My son is a lot happier, making friends and getting involved. We have had a great experience with the vice principal (Mrs Williams). She seem to be on top of things at the school and does not go unnoticed! If I can say one negative thing about it . as a military family, my husband is mobilized (Deployed away from us for a year)!!! I was told my son would have excused days for my husband coming home on leave, but unfortunately the attendance person was not very helpful with this. The information I had from the school was different from how they actually acted! My son has a few absences now that are unexcused due to wrong information. Who new R&R had to specifically say R&R? A leave from deployment is a leave from deployment!
