The school is beautiful. The students can be pleasant. The teaching staff is another matter. Some of the staff/teachers are very impolite toward visiting teachers. They seem to get a thrill out iof bullying teachers who are not on staff at their school. The principal needs to correct the negative school climate. They are VERY negative toward substitute teachers.

The teachers don't help students during free time to understand the curriculum, but then why do they carry on with the lesson even through they take away students' recess? Also, at lunch, teachers tell students to shush, even through the other classes are talking, and then they get punished for it?? The music teacher just gives students answers, and then they have to take a quiz on it the next week. Why do they need to learn about random symbols, when the symbols are used for instruments?? They don't play any instruments whatsoever, the school playgrounds have trash everywhere, and it explains for the test scores. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The motto of the school clearly resonates with the kids

As I said 80% of the kids are refugees who has never heard of English language but the teachers work with them to get them to an excelling student level

Teacher gives clear instructions and the kids are able to follow them . There is parent accountability as well. 80% of the kids are Refugees and imagine getting those kids through the course but the teachers do it and I salute that

We moved here from another city since January. Ever since my daughter's have been enrolled I've only received 1 report card from one of them. She's in kindergarten, her grades were good and now it turns out she has to go to summer school!! I never got a call or letter to let me know my daughter needed extra help or even tutoring. Nothing. And compared to the other school we come from you don't really see the teacher and they don't have school activities going on. I will be moving and hopefully we land in a better school.
