Treated our daughter horribly day one. Staff is terrible at getting back to you in a timely manner. In enrolled her day one and they would not give back any money. If you want your child to go to a school that is responsive and cares for your child, look elsewhere. Doesn't feel like God is at this establishment. Poor kids

We love Lakeland Christian Academy! My students have been here for 15 years. We have been through the Preschool, Elementary, Middle School and now High School programs. The academics are great with a thorough biblical integration in each subject. I am pleased with the weekly chapel and opportunity for the students to grow spiritually. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing school with compassionate teachers and staff who uplift my children. My kids are always ecstatic when they are dropped off and picked up, filled with joy and enthusiasm. We have been at Lakeland Christian Academy for 12 years now. It was only when my oldest became a teenager that I realized that sending our children to Lakeland was the best parenting decision we ever made.

This is my 4th year teaching at Lakeland. What I appreciate the most is the Bible centered education here I did some substitute teaching before I became part of the full time staff at this school. I was welcomed with open arms. I have three girls attending LCA. All three have been involved in band, choir and sports. My older children have also been part of the yearbook and drama classes. All of my children feel comfortable going to their teachers for help when they need it. The other parents are highly involved. Families support our sports teams.

I have two kids at this school. Theyve been attending since 2019 - kindergarten through 5th grade. Our experience has been wonderful. The education is solid and the culture at the school is caring and welcoming. My favorite part of the school is the solid Biblical teaching. Its not Bible class and then on to other subjects. Its Gods teaching woven throughout all the subjects giving the kids a firm foundation in their knowledge and faith. I highly recommend this school for anyone wanting a solid Christian education backed up with a rigorous curriculum provided by dedicated and caring staff.

LCA is a remarkable Christian school! Our son has been attending for five years and loves it. The teachers and staff are dedicated to teaching God's word in every subject. These teachers and staff give above and beyond in all of their efforts. We are so grateful for the LCA community, which makes getting plugged in easy. We have four kids at Lakeland Christian Academy, and they have been there for four years. We have gone from kindergarten through seventh grade and have had really the best experience. The parents are super down to earth. The teachers are loving and wise. I remember when my oldest child was starting fourth grade. The teacher was going over the classroom rules and she said, we have a new rule this year. This year we will focus on new mercies every day. I love that and I remember that in my own life as an adult. I love that my children are getting an education, not only in booksmart, but also in spiritual maturity.

Highly recommend this school. My child LOVES going to school everyday and does not want to take a day off. We love the Christian influence integrated into all that they do. Monthly memory verses, weekly Chapel, daily prayer and pledges. It's a gift to have an affordable private Christian school for our child.

Our kids have been going there for a year and I would not change it for the world. I love the school, the teachers and everything about the school. They are GREAT in every sense of the word. My kids love going to the school and would not even consider going back to public again.

Very cold, hive for bullies, students can't trust each other, principal is not concerned with students, we miss Dr. Patty, she was better, not good if you want to be Christian there and promoted, bad upkeep, bathrooms are rusty, not taken care of, teachers don't care about students education, poor curriculum, and mostly failing students, I would give it a zero but I can't

This is the best school this world will ever offer! It feels like home, and the teachers were amazing. Lately, it's been going downhill, and we will miss Mrs. Flemons. It used to be my favorite place in the world. I will always miss it.

My daughter has been attending Lakeland for 1 year now. She has finally found a school where she is not bullied and where Christ is at the center of everything she does. The academics are great and the athletic department is encouraging and supportive. This is the best private school in The are by far.

If you're looking for a quality Christian education I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The school is very disorganized and consistently references their quality in relation to their inexpensive tuition. School leadership is mediocre and I have been extremely disappointed with this school. If you are going to pay for private school there are much better options.

My son has Brandon Fernandez been assisting in this school since Sophmore year and I'm amaze of the support, love and encouragement he has received from coaches, teachers and principal of the school. He has received personal attention, tutoring from the begining and now in his Senior year he keeps saying is the best school and loves it. The school material is good, advanced and challenging. The school offers opportunities of Dual Credit and AP courses that my son has been able to benefit. Also, he has participated in sports and has been an amazing experience for him. I'm with the last poster. Stay away from this school. The elementary school is pretty good but the upper school is horrid. Lakeland is now basically a private school with a couple of Bible verses thrown in every now and then. If you want your child going to a school where each subject is taught with a Biblical worldview, this place is not it. The high school kids (which some have been there for several year) are leaving fast. Do not send your child there.

My children have been going here since Kindergarten and we love it! I read some of the reviews saying the kids can't be themselves? All I can say to that is they must be VERY disruptive in class! These teachers are the most professional, loving and gifted teachers around! See for yourself! My children learn about the Bible and how to be a well rounded person. With academics, social skills and Faith how could you go wrong? Best school ever! My kids will graduate from here with one of the best educations around!

This school is a true blessing. We moved our oldest to private after a bad experience with our local "high" rated public school. Our son went from C's to all A's with a couple B's. He is happy and making friends. He had a few issues with self control and while the school could have removed him, they saw more than just those issues in him as a whole, That meant more to us than we can say. The principle truly cares about our child and his teacher is structured with high expectations, He adores her! The whole school seems well run, we receive weekly emails so we know what is going on in each class as well as notifications if a low grade is reached. We are able to help him at home and encourage him to do what is expected at school.

The preschool is wonderful! My daughter loved is and still talks about her teacher! The Christmas program is so much fun. Every classroom has bathrooms! And the classrooms are bigger than several other places I toured. I like that they have a gym so they still get to play even during the winter. Go visit.

I really love this school, my child is extremely excited about going here. Hated the neighborhood school she is slotted to attend. The morals of the kids were horrid. The language and dress code was not enforced and after her belongings were stolen, we said that was enough. We started mid year and went back this year. Teachers are very devoted to the learning environment, cares about their needs and has fun with them. We only have one issue and hoping that will be taken care of in the next year. There isn't a school out there that is perfect. You just need to find the right one for your child. As far as I'm concerned, she will be there till she graduates. My child is an A student, is in band, and this year they started the first chapter of NJHS. Excited about the coming years at LCA.

My children are now in high school and have been at this wonderful school for at least 7 years. We left for 3 years for a homeschool program, big mistake, and were welcomed back with open arms. This is not only a Christian school with overly qualified teachers, but the small class size allows all the students to be reached by the teachers and a chance to stand out in their classes. This is not true in the huge public high schools. The teachers really care if your child is learning and make every effort to help them reach their full potential. I highly recommend this schoo to anyone who loves their child and wants them to succeed.

It's a great school! This is my daughter fourth year, and we are happy with this school. I was surprised reading previous reviews submitted by teacher back in 2012. We never had any experience like that. My daughter loves this school. We are impressed that other teachers who don't teach our daughter know my daughter; they say hi and talk to her. Great loving environment.Teachers are highly qualified. We really feel that we get more than what we paying for.

I enrolled my daughter when she was 2 and she is now going through the fours program. My daughter LOVES her school. The teachers are very interested in the well being of the students. I am very impressed with the level of communication between teachers and parents. I have also had the pleasure of meeting several of the elementary and specials teachers, who I personally know are highly qualified by Texas BOE standards. I have student taught or worked with several of them in the public school setting. These particular teachers taught and thrived in the public school system for 20+ years before bringing their experience and love for education to the classrooms of LCA. Being an education major, I have examined their application process and it appears to be thorough. I also like the fact that the students who attend here have the opportunity to do so many neat things. LCA works hard to build enriching experiences for students and provide extracurricular activities like theater, music, and athletics. Main thing- my daughter loves it and so do I! I look forward to many more great experiences with this school.

Very cold environment with unqualified teachers at the elementary level. Intimidation is used to control classroom. Not a creative school. Students are not allowed to make mistakes. How is that for a Christian School? Son went to school with outgoing personality and developed insecurities after attending that school. No individuality allowed there. He's afraid to express himself. I guess you get what you pay for.

Not the right environment for outgoing creative child. Had to remove our daughter for she was not allowed to be herself. School is run on intimidation! Students are not allowed to speak up. Parents be careful for child won't even know it's happening to them. Elementary school teachers are not qualified.
