We transferred from one of the best private schools in South Texas 5 years ago to Seashore Learning Center. I can honestly say Seashore is the best school a mother could ask for. I really care about my kids happiness, safety and education. And because Seashore Charter School cares and hold themselves to the highest standards, all three of my children are happy and flourishing! I cant thank the teachers and staff enough for what they have given my family!

overall pretty bad there were a small amount of good teachers and some nice office staff but I dreaded every single day of school and specifically a few teachers didn’t understand that not everything was their business and that their actions ruined multiple years of my life.

The best! They actually do their job they teach children the correct way and children with ADHD they actually work side-by-side with them the way it should be but not just throw them in in school suspension for not knowing how to work with them

The school is such a memorable place and most people get along very well. SMA offers clubs (like builders club) that encourages students to get involved. They even offer high school credit and extra help is kids are falling behind. My kid loves it and I totally recommend!

Several students are not only rude to other students they are rude to the teachers as well. Many cuss and make threats of physical harm and are disruptive in class. Although these students get in "trouble" when caught, the behaviour continues. It seems these students should be sent back to their district school and not be allowed the privilege of attending the Seashore Charter Schools. However, this is not done and these horrible students remain to disrupt students from learning and teachers from teaching.

Our children have been in the Flour Bluff schools since Kinder. I hesitated to put them in Seashore because of the lack of grading which I felt was important to assess my children's progress. After our son entered 8th grade and was having trouble with algebra, we opted to move him within the first 8 weeks of school in order to have a lower student-to-teacher ratio. He has tested Gifted in math, so I didn't want math to suffer. It was a wonderful experience. So wonderful we moved our 5th grade daughter this year. They also offer a two-year Spanish curriculum that translates to one year at Flour Bluff! I can call the school and be well received by name - not a number - and the teachers/administration welcome any concerns/comments I have. Thank you Seashore for your dedication to teaching!
