This school was a good school. Since the early 2020s, this school has become a mess. From disruptive behavior going unchecked to hiring permanent substitute teachers fresh from High School, this school is craptastic. Constant turnover of educational staff (probably due to the terrible kids that cannot be disciplined) and Im sure the good teachers cant find opportunities elsewhere and feel stuck. Not to mention the extremely friendly office staff, they treat you like youre bothering them. Its hard to imagine how quickly things have changed.

We hadn't been here long enough to assess this topic although I would like to see more opportunities for students to participate in various activities or clubs but perhaps we missed the window of opportunities for the year. Behavior is acknowledged and addressed when necessary. I will see what next year brings us.

Principal Miller is awesome! She is a very effective and personable leader who quickly resolves issues brought to her attention. Every time I see her she is smiling and excited to be there. She is also very responsive and demonstrates genuine concern for her students. I have no complaints here.

My child is in the 4th grade and the school does not assign homework at this age, but by him struggling in math, he can use the extra practice. However, they are tutoring with him during and after school so it somewhat makes up for not having HW. Yet, I make up HW for him anyways so he can have that extra practice at home. At minimum, HW should be given to those who need it and I assume that is being done case by case.

I have a Kinder and a 4th grader and their teachers are very effective and personable. They seem to love their jobs and that makes all the difference. My children LOVE this school and their teachers.

My daughter had one issue here with a bully and the leadership in this school got right to the point. The other childs parents were contacted and that child suffered consequences for their behavior that day.

Ms. Miller is a great principal and goes above and beyond to make children feel welcomed. Mr. Nuss was also amazing! I love how they each greeted the children every morning by running the crosswalk and helping kids get inside the building.

Very positive. Every teacher I have had contact with has had a very positive attitude and are willing to go above and beyond teaching our kids. The school has always went above & beyond to provided extra after school activities/clubs that promote continued learning. My kids have enjoyed being a part of Parkview.

They educate our students on what is a bully, how not to be a bully and what to do if you are being bullied. Very positive and helpful information for our students.

If you are willing to work with the staff, they are willing to work with you. They have always worked through pig concerns and found solutions. I have always received an prompt response from Mrs. Epps every time I have contacted her. She appears to be a good leader.

I have been impressed by the principal, Beth Epps, as someone who is professional, positive, and hard-working. I've also been impressed with the school clubs they implemented this year for such a low cost. The PTA has been making great strides with the school fundraising, raising more money than they needed to this year, and the pick-up/drop-off system has definitely improved. My children have had excellent teachers and the bus rides have been great and short. I love how Parkview partners with outlying restaurants for fundraising, and the amount of extra activities have been great including the musical performances, citizenship awards, literacy and math nights.
