My daughter has came a long way in this school. She was struggling at her old school and didn't have much support. Here she has the support she needs and has brought her grades up tremendously!

My experience here has not been fun. I want to transfer so bad, at the beginning of the year I couldnt go a week without being bullied and put in a principal worthy situation.

They have separate classes during an extra period titled Den to help students with Dyslexia and Autism.

Bullying happens all the time. Some students cannot go a day without putting somebody down, and I hear verbal bullying including cursing, insulting, name-calling, etc at least 5 times a day.

Not even considered a last resort for us. Unsafe, unruly establishment. The teachers and principals try to keep up with the behavior issues of the children here but fail in doing so. This in turn negatively effects the education level

I think ultimately the school is good. The students for the most part are very talented. As are the faculty and staff. Like I said above, the problem is the higher level people in the district. Communication in the district is awful. Teacher retention is completely nonexistent. Some MAJOR changes need to happen on the district level.

Homework is given on a regular basis. Whether or not the student do said homework however, that is the big issue.

The principal hold the faculty and students to a very high standard. Leadership in the district is another story. Teacher retention should be a high priority. Not getting rid of teachers who don't fit in for whatever reason.

My 6th grade student had very few homework sheets brought home for the entire year. (Maybe 10 all year and were for math. ) he is an A/B student. Also, 6th grade writing teacher mrs George told me she didn't believe in homework!

Punishment is not fairly distributed. Bullying is not addressed. Victims face extreme punishment when they speak up

My son was horribly bullied. The staff responded minimally until they got annoyed with my persistence and then did nothing!

I'm new here and I noticed there aren't any new ratings at this school. I really like Castleberry ISD and am happy to be working in a district that is ahead of most schools. Teachers are expected to teach technology infused lessons and students in the high school and middle school all have netbooks provided. This district values innovation and encourages professional development. Libraries and reading are valued. Castleberry ISD is a little hidden gem in Fort Worth!

Marsh is an okay school, and in my opinion, there is nothing that really stands out.
