Primrose School of Heritage

Update: Primrose won't give me any answers and continues to loop me back to the terrible people running this school. The one thing I want to come out of me posting this is to keep you from sending your child here. I know I am not the only one that has had a bad experience. I also understand that there are families that enjoy it which I wish this was my experience. Just be aware of this place, I have never seen a worse customer service than I have here. Biggest thing I learned out of all of this is trust your gut and don't be scared to speak up if you think there is a problem with your childs care because at the end of the day that is what matters most.


Don’t take your kid here, they have been rude and unwelcoming since day one! Most important of all your child will not get the proper care they need and deserve!!! The assistant director thinks it’s okay to talk to you rudely and will get away with it. Then when I speak my own experience with her, her husband tries to harass and threaten me and my family. When I told the director she would never say she would address her and would just get me to a different topic pretty much or cut the conversation short. There are many other things going on in this school and I know I am not the only one with my own bad experiences. From what I’ve heard from others it’s the new ownership. My child was somehow behind a rocking chair and was hit in the face hard enough to get a concussion. Our child also pulled an extension cord block down on his face while they were changing his diaper (I watched this happen), why was the extension cord even in his reach, idk. My child will come home in diapers two sizes too small barely squeezing him in when we give them plenty because they don’t communicate when he needs more. The teachers are nice but there is a lot of turnover to the point where I don’t know most of their names and we barely get any updates or photos and the kids are not getting the attention they need to be safe. When I addressed everything it just seemed to get worse pretty much immediately, teachers wouldn’t talk to me and the front staff basically took it as a joke and started being so passive aggressive and/or just wouldn’t speak to us. For the amount of money we pay a week here this is the worst customer service and worst childcare I’ve ever seen. Coming from a different primrose that we loved it was so sad to see this kind of care and lack of respect and concern from the staff.

In attempt to be brief, these are just SOME of the occurrences a majority of the Heritage location families, including us, experienced in such a short period of time: (1) Frequent teacher turnover, (2) Displacement from our original building & location due to ongoing repairs, (3) Incurred a longer commute time to the alternative location, (4) Obligated to pay a higher tuition because the alternative location was a "newer" building, (5) Change in operational school days to an earlier closing time, causing parents to immediately adjust their workday schedules, (6) Increased student-to-teacher ratios, (7) Adjusted Breakfast to an earlier time, (8) Increases in COVID cases week by week for more than a year, (9) Half of the class parents Forced to pay full tuition for 10 days, although their children were exposed by a single student due to a delayed correspondence from leadership to parents, and (10) Weak COVID health & safety practices, as they continue to send weekly school exposure emails, yet no longer take temperatures and now allow all individuals to enter the buildings without a mask, around school-aged children who are not yet age-approved for the COVID vaccine. Aside from the few teachers, whom I've made aware of their outstanding efforts... Ultimately these particular Primrose schools are disgraceful. Nepotism is also engrained within these locations, so it was difficult to find a Primrose team member brave enough to incite true change. Nevertheless, in spite of my thoughts, concerns, and suggestions for Primrose to partner with parents following each of these instances, the leadership of Jessica Fielder remained absent until the very end, and those who serve under her, only do so for their business and staff, with zero regard towards mutual solutions for not only the business, but also for the parents making the financial means for this business possible.

Therefore, after several failed attempts towards resolution on our behalf, our finances must always ultimately go to where my familys thoughts are respected and appreciated. As a devoted parent & healthcare professional, I not only do what's best for my children, but for all aspects of my family, and regardless of any future Primrose response, we hope that the remaining and future parents concerns are met with sincere change by their current leadership. Otherwise, if your family's concerns are of any importance, then I assure you that Primrose is not the ideal place for you.
