I wouldn't send my kids here. The administration has a high turn over rate and the teachers talk trash about the students. You go to speak with someone and the lady in the front is rude. Some of the teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids the rest are really bad.

My child is so happy at Metro E. This will be the 2nd year to attend and we can't complain. There's so many things planned for the kids to do outside of class as well. It's like a little family, something we were lacking from our previous school. We're so glad to have the opportunity to take advantage of everything this school has to offer.

Metro E is all that any other school is, but much more. Our school is "One of A Kind." We are the Metro E Family. Our administrators, faculty and staff, along with the auxiliary staff, are all so positive. We work together, and give 100% each day. Our goal is for our students to be successful in every way.
Our school is always "Booming." We have programs for everyone. We have various clubs to join; running club, student council, and many more. We have an outstanding fine arts program; band, guitar, drama, art, piano, dance, and much more. PTA is also a big part of our school. They work with the various departments to help make their events a success. They do have their annual events such as the Fall festival, and the Spring carnival.
The Counseling Department also holds events throughout the year for our students and parents. We have Metro E Family night, College and Career Week, and we recently began the TIK TALK TIME program for our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Overall, every employee, parent, and most importantly "Student" becomes part of our family. Metro E faculty and staff want what is best for the students. We work hard to give an abundance, and to show respect, support, and love to our students. .

Metro E has provided a great learning environment for my children. The teachers go above and beyond to support my children both academically and artistically. Having such a strong fine arts program is a huge asset. Not only are my girls exceeding in their classes, they are developing a love of learning and the arts. In addition to academics they study art, drama, piano, and dance. I love that their creativity is supported and encouraged. My girls look forward to going to school each day and are gaining experience and confidence that will serve them throughout their lives.

Working at Metro E has been a great experience. The staff is great and leadership has done a great job building a friendly and collaborative working environment which has a great impact on every student on campus. As a teacher/parent I would highly recommend Metro E because of the options they offer in Fine Arts such as music, guitar, and dance to name a few.

Both of my sons went to Metro Elementary. My oldest loved choir. He got to be a part of Alice and Wonderland, Jr. My youngest was into the projects. His favorite project was when the Kinder teachers turned the hallway into a rainforest. He researched tree frogs and made the cutest green-eyed tree frog. I loved having kids at Metro E.

This is such an amazing elementary school. They are the only elementary school that offers more than two fine arts classes. Metro Elementary offers dance, theater, music, band, art, guitar, ukuele, piano, and technology classes. My daughters have not only excel in the academics but also in the arts. My girls have been given many opportunities outside their school due to what they have learned at the Metro E. I hope that you will give Metro E an opportunity to further your child's education.

I am a student teacher from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. I had the honor of being placed at Metro E., or Wynn Seal Metropolitian, in second grade. This school without a doubt has been a staple of what a good school should be. The educators truly love and care for each and every student. The teachers look for a way to make learning fun and interactive. This school isn't only full of amazing educators but amazing administration staff as well. The Principal, Mrs. Gilbert, is attentive and comforting to all students and parents. Not only is she amazing for students and parents but, also for teachers as well. The Vice-Principal, John Figueroa, is a fan favorite among staff and students. This school is a fine arts school focusing on dance, band, piano, guitar, and art. Every six weeks the students attend a new fine art as well as attending Physical Education every day. The school is a historical building that is jaw-dropping inside and out. Although the school is vintage the grounds are safe and clean for students. This is an amazing school and if I was staying here past graduation I would definitely want to work here as well as having my students attend the school. I literally cannot say enough about this school. After attending other schools for observation throughout my time at TAMUCC I recommend this school above all other schools in CCISD.

Being a PE teacher at Metro E is a wonderful experience. We are very lucky to have a gymnasium with two tv's on the walls and a well stocked equipment room. We also have tennis courts, white top, play ground with swings and a huge football size field with bleachers! I love teaching 6th grade here at Metro E. I have taught Reading here for 11 years and love every minute. Together we work on projects, read numerous novels, and have great discussions. The students, teachers, and admin are amazing. Please consider applying for Metro E.

I have had two kids go through this amazing school and going to hopefully have a kinder student starting next year. This is a school like no other. This school offer many fine arts classes that no other elementary school does. My girls have taken dance class like jazz, tap, and ballet. They have also been in band since 3rd and 4th grade and have been involved in several amazing musicals. I would highly recommend this school if you love the arts this is where this school thrives. The staff is great and my whole family has made life long friends with other parents, students and even staff. We love Metro E.

Wynn Seale Metropolitan School of Design offers students in grades Kinder - 6th grade many opportunities for Fine Arts. Students have access to technology in all classrooms and one-to-one access for students in grades 3rd - 6th. The academics are improving and the staff and students focus on building the whole child. This school believes it is important to develop a person's character, problem solving, creativity, and academics.
