This school is so bad that someone pushed me so obviously I had to push back. He punched me in the eye and I let it slide thinking he would get suspended or more ISS (In-School Suspension) but he got less time than me and I didn't even do anything else except push him away from me. He got a day and a half and I got 2 FULL DAYS OF ISS!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STUPID SCHOOL!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Grant Middle school! Three of my children attended Grant (my youngest is an 8th grader), and they all had a very positive experience while they were there. The teachers truly care about their students and offer tutorials and extra help on a regular basis.

One thing that everyone should keep in mind when reading reviews is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Every school will have ups and downs. One thing that I can say about Grant Middle School is everyone that I have spoken with (teachers, office staff, Janitorial staff and Administrative) or have had to work with has always been great. They have always been very supportive and helpful. The Teachers and staff are always willing to help out the students, parents and each other in their time of need. We come together as a GRANT family for everyone that needs the support of a family.
Like I said at the beginning of this review. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this one is mine.

Grant Middle School truly cares about their students. The leadership and staff and SPED Dept. are helpful, supportive and will do what they can to ensure a positive learning experience.

I am a parent of a 6th grade student at GMS. She has enjoyed Grant since being on campus. As a parent, I have experienced good communication with teachers and staff when reaching out in regards to my child's academics. The school has a friendly environment and my child feels safe and respected when at school. She loves her teachers and has developed a great student/teacher relationship with each one.

This school has taken a very safe and cautious approach in regards to COVID-19 procedures. Admin also takes very personal approach in dealing with students and does not just treat them like a number. Students' best interests are really taken into consideration.

This school DOES have it going on! The staff and principal really care about students. This is the best of all area middle schools....standardized test performance and meeting the needs of students. If you care about you children and grandchildren, this is where they should attend school.
