Our children have attended ACS since pre-kindergarten. Our oldest daughter is about to graduate. The school received their full accreditation last year and it has been amazing to be a part of the growth and changes. ACS have loving staff members who represent Christ in a wonderful way. The curriculum is challenging while being manageable. ACS has added dual credit opportunities for high school students. They have many different sports for students to participate in, Student Council, Student worship team, Art and Music. Take a tour- you will not regret it!

We are going into our second year at ACS with four children grades 5th through 11th. We appreciate the small classroom sizes and attention to detail from all teachers and administration. ACS staff is committed to developing each of our children, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is the first year that my children were actually eager to return to school after a summer break.

There are certainly areas of opportunity and our ACS family is aware and committed to continued growth and development. They are always open to constructive feedback that will allow them to serve our children best.

As parents we are committed serving our ACS family to help fill some of those gaps that a tuition alone just cannot fully cover. I hope and pray that we can attract more families with a similar mindset and commitment to their children's future and family's legacy at ACS.

My granddaughter has been going to Azle Christian School since Pre K. She is now a sophomore. She is surrounded by good people and has a wonderful principle. I would highly recommend this school.

Not impressive. To start with, the playground equipment for the littles is atrocious. All broken and rotting plastic. I saw kids climbing all over plastic equipment with sharp jagged pieces sticking up. They watch a movie or part of a movie every day. The teachers make an average of $12K per year, according to a letter from the principal asking for money. What kind of teachers are you getting for that salary?? The communication is lacking and everything is very unorganized. My child has been in 3 different classrooms this year due to church renovations. I would be willing to pay double the tuition if the experience had been better. We will NOT be returning next year.

These teachers are so awesome in so many ways. Kind, Loving, Educated. They take a moment to care and listen to our children. Our most prized possession we have responsibility of, we intrust to these teachers and they deserve our trust. They are outstanding. From the Principal and all around.... A+

My grand daughter is going into 4th grade and began in Pre K. We LOVE everything about this school . They accept you as you are and teach loving, kind behavior as well as a great education. My daughter drives 35 minutes each way twice a day just so my grand daughter can continue at Azle Christian School.

I just completed my 8th year at ACS teaching third- fourth grade. I love this school more and more every year. I think we have the best staff of any private school in our region. Every parent has a choice of where to send their child for education. Every staff member we have also has a choice of where they choose to teach. My prayer is that I have not only taught my students academically but that I have taught them God's word, love and compassion in everything I do and say. Mrs. Miles 2007-2015 Third/Fourth Grade

I have had the priviledge of being apart of this school for 7 years. We have excellent staff that are more than qualified in teaching education. Our adminstration staff is second to none in our region. Most of our staff is intertwined with our church and learning center for, that we take great pride in. We don't just say we're Christians, we live what we speak! We take pride in our school and our students learning. Smaller classroom ratio is an advantage that we have over public school. Christian character is very important to us, our students and parents. We have the very best athletic programs and our coaching staff have a true passion to see their athletes excel. If you have any questions, please call! Blessings, Mrs. Miles 3rd/4th Grade Teacher 2007-2014 Submitted by a teacher

i have been affiliated with Azle Christian school closely for the last two years and can say that i believe the level of education and approach to childhood development is on the higher side of normal especially when compared to public schools. This is not an equal comparison when taking into account smaller class size , less demanding work load on teachers ( workload that has nothing to do with teaching) and a genuine interest in the total well being of a student. Azle Christian School is not the perfect school to send your child ( there isnt one) but if your focus is on whats best long term for his or her complete well being then you should consider A.C.S. I have found the staff and faculty to be open to those who want to communicate about facts and do so in a constructive manner and it seems to me first hand that their less than (attention soldier) style is an asset and not a liability.

I have three children here in various grade levels. This is our first year there and they all love it. The teachers and staff are wonderful and very knowledgeable of what they teach. However, the thing that stands out to me the most is the wonderful Christian leadership and environment. I recommend this school to everyone I know.

My son has thrived at this school. Great staff, caring, Christian leaders, and Christian values. The school teaches love, hope, and responsibility. A great place for your children to learn and grow. I would recommend this school to all families who want more out their kids education, want to know what their kids are being taught, a place where parents are welcome, informed, and their child is being molded into a well rounded adult. My child was not getting an education in public school. Since being here he has self-esteem, true friends, and fits in. Honesty, responsibility, and integrity are here along with the Love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I'll never go back to public schools. Thank you Azle Christian School! I have 2 of my children at ACS & I'm very grateful for the staff there for doing anything possible for our children. I would not send my kids back to public school. Thanks ACS

Teachers are not qualified. They hire family and friends as teachers. Our children went back to public school and were at least one year below grade level and had to be held back a grade just to catch up. They were 2 grade levels below other Christian schools in the area. They have finally gotten an administrator with prior experience. I would not recommend this school.

The love and compassion the staff as well as the administation shows these children goes above and beyond. It took me leaving to really appreciate how much ACS does for our childern. Leaving biggest mistake, coming back... Best decision I ever made. My grandson couldnt be happier. We have been here 7 years.

My daughter has been going to ACS since pre-k she is now in 2nd grade. We have been very grateful to the staff for loving and educating our daughter. Anytime we have had a concern it was always addressed and together we came up with the best solution. I am a public school teacher and I know firsthand how stressful the state testing can be on students. I cannot show my appreciation enough for ACS because of this. My daughter has high anxiety and the thought of her being pressured with the ridiculous state testing is horrible. I also take responsibility for my child's LEARNING!! We work together at home- reading, writing and exploring new things. No teacher or school is perfect but the open communication and the effort put forth by the staff is exceptional! My youngest daughter cannot wait to begin ACS in PreK!

We absolutely love this school! My son had been in Azle Public Schools for 7 years and hated school and dreaded going every day. We made the decision to switch him to ACS and he is a different kid. He loves his school and teachers and can not wait to get to school each day. The athletic program is also incredible! Best decision we every made!

Our son graduated from ACS and was awarded a full academic scholarship to Texas A&M. The teacher's are very good at communicating with the students and my son's SAT and ACT scores were in the top 5% in the nation. Nearly all the high school teachers are retired public school teachers and really love teaching. Our son attended ACS for four years. The administration changed in 2011 and the new administrator is a retired public school teacher. She has done an excellent job with te school and its direction.

2 of my Grandchildren attend Azle Christian and absolutely love it. Wish my kids could have attended this school.

I am very pleased with Azle Christian School. My children have attended the school for many years. I love the administration and staff. They do an amazing job at teaching our children. Both of my children have taken their ACT's and SAT's for college and have scored very well. The teachers have a heart for the Lord and a heart for educating our children. It is a small school and that has it's advantages. Couldn't be anymore proud to say that my children attend ACS.

Our son has attended ACS since pre-K. He is now in second grade and doing great. We know he is in a safe, loving environment and at the same time getting a good education. Since the classes are much smaller than public school, he has much more one on one attention to his educational needs and also has more fun! His class is very tight knit and his teacher is extremely creative and keeps the children interested in learning. It is very important to us that our child develop Christian, moral ethics and character. The school assists us in this. The staff has more experience than most larger schools. Athletics are very important to us, too, and we are pleased with the athletic program. At this time, we plan to keep our son enrolled.

i have a 1st grader and a kindergartener, this is there second year there. Both my Wife and I love the school and my kids love the school. The teachers are excellent and my kids are learning more than they would in public school. i plan on my kids being there until they graduate.

Our oldest child entered Kindergarten last year and we only lasted one week in public school before we had to find something better. We toured ACS and instantly knew that this was the place for us! Our daughter is in first grade now and our son is in ACS s Pre-K class. They love ACS! They always have fun things for the kids to do, including spirit days, art class, computer lab, and PE EVERYDAY (which you won t find in public school). They learn about the Lord and they are excelling in all areas of education. The teachers really care about our children and that is one of the most important things to me and my husband. The class sizes are small enough that the kids receive more personalized attention, but they are large enough that they have multiple friends and get the socialization that is important to development. We are proud to be ACS Crusaders!

This past summer, it was my high school son's request that we withdraw him from public & put him in Azle Christian School. He has always been an honor roll & all around great student & continues to be here. He's very comfortable & has a constant smile on his face & is just so happy! It is a small school & you have to ask alot of questions, but the entire staff have a true passion! He is still being challenged academically & continuing to grow spirtually. The coaches are impecable... they coach the kids as they should be coached- constructive feedback to the athletes to make them not only a better player, but a better person & role model. When my son shared his reasons for wanting to switch to private, we clearly knew the Lord was at work in his life & we needed to move out of the way. No school is perfect, but ACS is truly making a positive impact on my son & we are so thankful! To see our son so happy is truly heartwarming! We look forward to what the Lord has in store for our son in the coming years as he continues at ACS!

Organization is terrible. Communication with teachers and staff is difficult, unless you are a family member, work there, or attend the church. They no longer serve school lunches. Except on Fridays when they order in Pizza to raise money. Went in one day to have a chat with my child's teacher and it was like she wasn't even listening to what I was saying and totally pre-occupied with something else. Don't invite me in and make me think we are going to have a successful chat if your mind is elsewhere. I wouldn't take any of my children here no matter what age or grade they were in.

I love this school. My children are in the Kindergarten class there and the teacher is fantastic. She is always willing to talk to me whenever there is reason. I know that they are ahead with their curriculum and I love the Christian environment. Sending my kids the ACS was the best decision I could've made.

My son started attending ACS last year after trying two years at Azle High. He was in end stage renal failure and receiving dialysis. The high school was too big and too many students. We pulled him out and was trying home school. We were not very good at it and he was in danger of not finishing school. He has now had his transplant and is back at ACS doing well. He attends school and actually participates. The teachers and staff have been so helpful and supportive. He belongs to a family there. He comes home explaining the new stuff he is learning. I am grateful for the change in my son . I have a positive outlook on his education. His teachers email with any concerns they might have.

Former Parent - We stuck it out for K & 1st, ended up moving 3/4's through 2nd grade. Child was 1 year below grade level in reading. Doing much better now in public school. A-Beka is good, but school administration is very unexperienced. Christian focus is excellent. Might be better environment for well established student looking for a smaller school. Would not recommend for early grades until this school has had several more years experience to establish itself.

Unqualified teachers - not required to have degrees. Discipline is lacking. Students are in charge of the school. Administration lacks professionalism and organization. If you are looking for a good Christian reform school - this is it. If you are a Christian parent looking for a school to help your child develop spiritually, look somewhere else.
