Principal is uneducated and doesn’t know what she’s doing. Shouldn’t be principal at school since all she does is make things more difficult than they have been should fire her and never had hired her in the first place

For a school that claims to be about STEM (Science and math) this school is severally lacking in these two areas. While most of the teachers are great and really want to help students, they are understaffed and their G/T program is a joke. The focus of the school is to have struggling children pass the STAAR test, so that they look good on paper. For the smart children who love math and science and want more of a challenge, the school doesn't give them the time of day. If you gave a very bright or gifted child, and they love math and science, you might want to choose another school.

Their answer for bulling, is to tell you and your students to be more like the other students, so they won't get bullied. If a student is too smart at this school, they risk being bullied by both the other students and by some of the teachers and staff.

This school neither supports G/T students or Special Education students. Their only goal is for students to pass the state STAAR test. There is no thinking outside the box, at this school

Aside from Mr. Beam (Assistant Principal) the leadership at this school is ineffective and totally lacking.

Posted: May 2, 2017

This school wants all students to be the same and act the same. If you have a Special ED student they will hammer your student until the other students feel they are treated equally.

Most of the teachers are excellent, but the school policies prevent them from doing their job.

Posted: May 2, 2017

This school love to give lots busy work (homework) so that struggling children can bring their grades to a passing level. Unfortunately this is seen as a punishment for children who are already at grade level or beyond.

The academics at this school are excellent. I also feel like the teachers really care about the students. However, sometimes communication and organization are lacking. Another note, the school lunch system needs to be changed. My kids tell me almost every day how bad the food is.

Excellent academics. Great teacher to parent communication. Be aware school is strict; if you have issues with school authorities hassling your kids for disrespect, not following simple rules, etc this school is not for you. I am concerned about the growing popularity of the school, I have noticed the grade sizes in the elementary grades are quite large. Wish they could add more Spanish classes and maybe Latin

I like the school . The teachers are great , the staff in the office are very nice and helpful. I also like the fact that they don't tollerate bullying. The only complain I have is that they have limited bathroom breaks. They are only allowed two bathroom breaks. This should be changed. What about the young girls that are going through changes in their lives. They need more than two bathroom breaks.

Wow! This school is amazing! They have high academic expectations, and the teachers are very competent, and accessible. They use behavior modification techniques through their point system, and I like the cultural diversity of the teachers and students. I feel it makes my children more open-minded and culturally sensitve to others. I love that my children are provided with challanging academic programs, and would recommend this school to anyone who wants nothing less than academic success for their children. :)

Excellent charter school. Most of theeducators are Turkish so there can be some language barriers at times they can be difficult to understand but the actual education and care of the children cannot be beat. outstanding test scores and amazing ideas going on in this school. Dont judge the school based upon the building which is housed in an old grocery store its wonderful inside and very secure.small and intent on TEACHING instead of social drama. I am personally SO happy this school is here and would recc it to everyone
