This school is cream of the crop. Your student will be challenged and pushed to achieve greatness. The Staff is very supportive. The campus is beautiful. There's security and Police onsite so, the children are fairly safe. The Students only take college and advanced courses. If you can get your student into the school you won't be disappointed.

We are now housed at 300 Trinity Campus Drive inside Trinity River TCC. Lovely facility with stellar views of the city. I love this place. Teaching here is a gift.

They expect students to start learning to study and not just do "homework". It really prepares them for understanding that something doesn't need to be assigned for you to have to learn it. They offer a number of resources for the students to take advantage of at the highschool and college level.

As with any school you are going to get that odd teacher that no one seems to understand their teaching method, but we all have had that boss at one time or another. 99% of the teachers are more than effective at their job and truly treat the students as family that they are caring for.

There will always be the students that just don't learn common courtesy, but the bulk of the students at the school are all of good character. I think many of them pick up a great deal being in classes with college students.

Because this is a more rigorous education I think some students with severe learning disabilities may find it too difficult even with additional assistance. My daughter has ADHD and some of the course work did get a bit too intense, but the teachers are very helpful and keep the parents informed. She will still graduate high school and get her associates of arts.

I have not seen a lot of bullying, but I know that they have a great support system in place. In an accelerated high school, students can easily find themselves down over grades and relationships as much as bullying. Depression is hitting our children more now than ever and this school is taking notice and being proactive about the changes that our students face.

I think that FWISD is making a big difference for a lot of children with all of their early college high schools. Children who may have been scared to go to college for the cost, are a little more at ease when they can get two years free. TABS in particular, is great for those who are more inclined to science and medical. I can't imagine my daughter going anywhere else. Although the curriculum can be overwhelming for students with ADHD, there is a great support system. The best part is that you just have to live in Fort Worth ISD to apply. They even take some out of district.

Teachers motivate kids for success, expectations are higher than any other school. My son will graduate high school with an associate in science and in Arts.

I have seen this with my child's teachers. They took an interest in understanding his style of learning. There was no special treatment but his ability to learn easily was acknowledged. The teachers are not inclined to ignore a student's differences but tend to work with them on ways to ensure they are not bored or not learning.

I've never heard of my child witnessing any instances of bullying. The students are warned of this kind of activity and expected to behave respectfully toward one another. There are different friend groups but all students know each other, help each other, and refrain from hurtful/harmful behaviors from what I've seen and been told by my child. This can be seen across all grade levels. There isn't the usual pecking order type of mentality going on. It all about respect and success for everyone. They are a family.

This school has been the perfect fit for my child. After attending private school it seemed like a gamble but one worth trying. There has not been one moment in the 4 years at this school where I've had ANY regrets or questioned the quality of education. In fact, from what I've learned, the atmosphere at TABS is a healthier one than the "best" private schools we had to choose from. TABS is filled with students that are taking their education and the future it offers seriously. These kids shine and are determined to make a huge splash when they jump into life's ocean. I have no doubts they will - they've had great examples and mentors that have shown them what it takes to succeed and cultivated their confidence through mutual respect. No matter the direction they go, they are well equipped with the tools they need to sort through what they have to choose from and understand the impact of their choices as they follow the map they've sketched out. As is obvious, I can't say enough good about this school. These students graduate with a strong sense of self and a mature confidence in their futures.

The students are treated with respect and are in an environment where all of these qualities are demonstrated in the classrooms. The adults walk the walk so it only makes sense that the students would learn to do the same.

Principle is unbelievable! He not only knows all students by name, he KNOWS them as well. He is involved with the students and really works to make sure each student is on track. He makes this school succeed - it's hard to not be motivated with such a person in your corner. A wonderful example!!!

This school went from a very very close association with UNT medical school and standards expecting to educate future doctors, dentists, RNs, etc to a glorified technical/assistant program, such as phlebotomists, etc. the summer camps at the medical school are gone - the curriculum is definitely NOT pre-med. It is geared at getting your student to be some kind of assistant/tech - as a surgery tech. don't expect anything different from that.

This school has very challenging and rigorous academics that will aid anyone hoping to go into the medical program. They have several opportunities and classes that give students a head start on college. Unfortunately, this school lacks in extracurricular activities and clubs. I feel like I don't get many opportunies to get to know other students. The school offers clubs, but the clubs have slowly died out throughout the year. This is an excellent program for someone who doesn't necessarily need the complete high experience, but it has been somewhat disappointing for me.

I am a student at TABS and I can honestly say that I love this school. The teachers here really do care and put in so much effort to make themselves available to students. The curriculum is challenging but with enough time it is achievable. TABS offers dual credit classes taught by tcc professors opportunity. The environment at TABS is very friendly and class sizes are so small that students are well-informed and participate in school events. If a student has any interest in going to college then TABS should be first choice because we not only offer experience in the medical field but also the dual credit classes that are offered can be towards any college major.

TABS is a wonderful school where students can earn college credit while attending classes. The small campus means the students have more individual instruction time. Several of the students will be the first generation in their family to attend college.

My son is currenly a Freshman at TABS. We absolutely love the Teachers and the staff members. They are extremely helpful and seem to take great pride in their work as well as caring about the students and their success. Excellent teachers, strong principal/school leadership and challenging academic programs. My son tells me thier are no bullies and it's a family type of environment where everyone knows everyone and the students help each other succeed. My son is challenged, thriving and doing very well! I highly recommend this school to any student interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. Thank you, TABS for making this school year a great success for our son and giving us as parents the peace of mind that he is in a safe environment, enjoys school and is learning so much every day!
