I am the parent of a former 4th grade student of EACP class of 2014-2015. I registerd my child then we had to attend a very unorganized orientation.I let the oreintation blurp slide but once my child began school the problems where many.1)the office opens when ever it wants i was there at 745am it open at 822am kids were waiting for tardy slips.2) All I mean All the staff would not make eye contact/nor greet me in the mornings 3) There is no gym/art/music 4) The caferteria is like a jail house chow hall and it is ran that way by staff 5)The library can be beat by my own home library it has 7 bookshelves only 6 stocked with donated books 6) The last thing I must mention is that my child correct the teachers spelling twice and coming from AISD to this school was like going to a third world country the kids/teachers or way behind academically. Pray for the kids that or stuck here please because most or of foreign origin.

I am a former student and I went to both campuses and this school is a waste of our time...when Ms.Rocha was principal it was a different story. All in all I get a better education at del valle high school

Yes more Hispanic than any other cultures and one teacher name mr .Garcia is rude to the parents when it come to having a conversation he hang the phone in my face about my daughters homework and the principal is rude too to the kids and there was another child complaining about a teacher name ms.Mendez said she was being rude and yelling at the students as well as other three I have mention but other than that need to improve on respect to students and they will recieve respect assist superintendent Jennifer still haven't gotten back to me on my incident with my child and its been a week after calling all of the staff kind of said but I got a plan for a school review board member to go to the school my nephew goes to the Jain lane and he makes all a and they was making him good to tutorials and he as a gpa of 97 I thought that was crazy but I just thought I but it all out here so u would know

Another school on the east side providing the same low level of care and service to its youth. What a big disappointment! This is NOT a college prep school. It is a Title One school - a place for attitudinal, low performing, low income students who have probably been kicked out of a mainstream school. It is geared towards the Hispanic culture which probably makes up about 80% of the student body. I m not saying this is bad, but it appears that preferential treatment is given to these students and their parents. The school is unorganized and has a long way to go to be a great school. They are not setting the bar high but keeping it low, the principal seems to ensure this by asking me to lower my standards Really?

so far so good....its still too early to tell..... but we do see improvement in his attitude teachers seem to be dedicated and enthused.

This school is horrible. They just don't have it together. It took my daughter a couple of days to get her schedule. They people that work ther are not friendly and my kids tell me they are racists. School has even been in a 1 month yet and I will be pulling them out. I wish I would have read reviews before I signed them up. Never again.
