Very good school and I highly recommend it. Although some parents are getting mad about no homework, the teachers do such a good job that homework isn't necessary. They have an amazing fine arts program and a great sports team. Great School!

My main concerns are more with the administration at this school (above teachers) First, at this school you have lower, middle, and high class income families going here. So some of these kids are spoiled rotten and act terrible towards other kids and teachers. And yet I dont see the administration doing more to protect the kids and teachers from this behavior. My child has told me horror stories of how some kids treat teachers and other kids. Middle school should be a safe place for learning and being able to teach, but due to the lack of leadership at this school I have lost confidence and transferred 7th grader to another school within the district. I have dealt with the principal when she was the assistant principal. She is slow in returning calls (average about 4-5 days) and likes to pass issues to someone else.

It sucks. The teachers are worse than the students; they dont care about teaching at all. Theyre more concerned about yelling or unreasonable punishment than helping us learn.

Super rude and dont care whatsoever. They cuss in front of students and are more worried about punishment and yelling rather than teaching.

This school is a great enviroment for learning, with fantastic teachers and support staff. I've moved a bit, Texas, Georgia, Ohio; and by far Frisco Schools have been the best!

Real disappointment !!! Teachers do not care, disorganized system, no good way of students and parents to be informed about assignments/tests. When you speak to the principle you get no resolution since they just cannot accept any responsibility and there is no recourse for the staff and teachers for doing anything wrong. It's really sad that there goal is to just have fake good reviews and not to help kids be the best academically. I honestly don't know how they have some good reviews when you talk to other parents you find out how frustrated they are with this school. Teachers that don't care about teaching and poor Athletic dept. makes you wonder what does this school have to offer....

Not sure of they do. I know that they are not compassionate and don't resolve problems.
Posted: October 13, 2016
In my experience this school do not support students with their needs and do not stove to have students achieve and excel. I can't comment about their special needs dept since I don't have experience with that.

Don't know how to answer this, I guess the leadership of the staff must be effective for them. They don' teach this skill to students in any way.
Posted: October 13, 2016
There is not much of anything this school offers. Students just go and attend classes if they are brilliant their self and they can teach their self than all good but if your child need help or requires certain style of learning don't expect this school to provide that. They have no programs or activities focusing on teaching integrity, compassion or respect. Teachers and staff can use a course in kindness and compassion themselves since they lack these qualities. This is a very shallow school.

Teacher's are sadly not effective in teaching or working with students. I think it's the way the culture of this school is where teachers know they don't have to do much. School is all about things that don't really matter and about collecting money.

The school gives no homework they want everything easy for their teachers and do not care about student's learning. They don't even have a good system to post any assignments due or upcoming tests etc and lie to parents about having learning hub yet the teachers don't' post and if you complain about that nothing changes.

My daughter's teachers have transformed her writing and math abilities. I wish that I had some of the talented teachers that I see at this school. They are excellent.

The school gives the right amount of homework to reinforce what is learned in class. One innovative thing that this school does is have a study period at the end of the day for the kids to work on their homework during school hours. My daughter loves this time because she can apply what she has learned during the day. She is very focused during this time to get all of the work done. Of course, she can continue to study at home. But, having the focused time at school is a better use of her academic enrichment.

Yes. The school's curriculum is challenging in the pre AP classes. You have to work hard to do well.

Hunt is a top notch school. The academics are challenging, comprehensive, and taught by very experienced and professional teachers. Your child will be very prepared for high school after attending this school. I love that you can take some high school courses in 8th grade like Algebra I. The principle is excellent as well. He runs a tight ship in a very caring way. The kids are great as well. All come from different backgrounds but it has a very family friendly atmosphere. This school should be a model for any middle school in the United States.
