READ IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH
If you really want the truth about this school, I wouldnt recommend it at all. Its honestly not a good experience. The teachers dont know how to teach, and the work they give doesnt really help you in the future. Ive been to Skyline which people call a bad school and even there the teachers actually gave us useful work.
Legacy is just boring and has nothing going on. No sports, no clubs, no real school activities. It doesnt even feel like a real high school experience. The school feels unorganized and broke, and theyre always depending on parents and students to cover things that shouldnt be our problem.
If youre looking for an easy way to just get a diploma, maybe this school is fine. But if you actually want to learn, have fun, and get prepared for real life, I wouldnt waste your time here.

Legacy Preparatory Mesquite is a complete mess of a school and I say that not out of bitterness, but from lived experience. The leadership is practically nonexistent; the principal fails to establish any kind of real discipline, structure, or authority. Theres no clear voice, no accountability, and definitely no real support. The staff? Toxic. The energy is off full of lies, backstabbing, and constant miscommunication.
Students are openly using and sneaking drugs into the bathrooms, and administration turns a blind eye. They know whats going on, yet they do nothing. Were told to reinforce expectations, but the moment we try, they turn on us or shut us down. Its chaos. Its exhausting. And worst of all, its unsafe for both the staff and the kids who actually want to learn.
This isnt a school that uplifts. It drains. It breaks down the people trying to help, and protects the dysfunction instead of the future.

I recently withdrew my daughter from this school. The principal Mr. Fletcha is horrible. As well as the teachers. Their only concerned with attendance and not the actual student. They don't follow a true curriculum. My only regret is that I didn't transfer my daughter sooner. If anyone reads this review and you have a second choice to send your little one to, please do so and stay away from Legacy Preparatory Academy Mesquite Campus. The classrooms are OVERCROWDED and the teachers have zero patience. 30+ kids to a room with 1 teacher. There is no way a child can learn in that environment.

Legacy Preparatory is an amazing school that challenges students daily. Mrs. Davis is one of the best principals I have met, she is caring, helpful, involved, responsible, and very dedicated to the school.
Teachers and secretaries are very welcoming.
I give 5 stars to this school!!!
