This school has supported and encouraged my daughter and she has become a motivated hard worker instead of the defeated girl who arrived here.

ACA really does have such great potential. Sadly, it misses the mark in so many ways.

My children have attended ACA for a number of years. We love the families, the spiritual development we see in our kids, and the character of the students. We love our school!

This school has so much potential but sadly falls short once you hit high school. Students are put at such a disadvantage and most teachers are extremely unhelpful. You will also have a lot of homework, I currently do multiple hours a night. Its a good school, just not for high school.

ACA builds a childs character, faith, and IQ through a rigorous, family-like environment. Through ACA, I have been gifted with friendships that I know will be lifelong. ACA is rigorous, but its very doable, and aims to teach children discipline and build their work ethic. There were times when I was younger and in Grammar or Logic school wondering how this specific drill or that worksheet would really aid me in higher education? But now having finished high school and heading to college, I can see how everything I did was one step on a staircase that was progressively building my academic strength and intelligence. The way that ACA maps out their curriculum is very intentional and more often than not done personally by hand (by either the teachers or academic deans). It is amazing how much each person cares for their students. No student is just a number. Everyone is individually known and cherished; that is very rare, especially in an academic environment. I feel so lucky that my parents took a chance with ACA and it has reaped countless blessings - even outside of my education. I would encourage anyone considering ACA to take that same chance, I do not believe you will regret it. The outside or size of ACAs campus is very deceiving compared to the quality of education and the hearts of the teachers. I had other options when it came to school, especially high school, but I never even considered them (public school, homeschool, charter school, etc.). Looking back, I am so grateful I never wavered from ACA. I can say with confidence I would not have had the same experience at another school and my life would look very different. Thank you to everyone at ACA, especially those who helped start the school, for creating an environment that allows children to be themselves, grow closer to God, and thrive academically!

We were referred to ACA by another family and here we sit 7 years later and have not been disappointed. This school is for families that are seeking for their children to be Life long learners and leaders that love the Lord. Everything is done with a Christ Centered approach. During the recent Pandemic, the school only had spot closings. The exceptional leadership had school open the majority of the school year without fail. Due to the fact that ACA is a University Model School, the students did not lose any valuable school time and were able to self manage their schedules and work load as an excellent preparation for college and university life. Masks were optional as the school operated with giving the Parents/families the option of deciding what took place with their children, not the legislature and politicians. It was very refreshing to follow the Lead of The Lord and not mans inferior nature. We had a graduate this year and due to the quality of instruction and rigors of the education, our child was accepted to virtually every school that was applied to and awarded top scholarships from the schools of choice. We never desired an environment that restricted growth of young people due to peer pressure or social idioms, yet wanted an environment that our children could grow naturally without being afraid to be themselves.. it was a perfect marriage!

We have had an amazing experience at ACA. The academics are college prep, and highly effective in preparing students for college or future success in other areas. The spiritual development that we have also seen in our boys is what really makes the school stand out. The staff and teachers pour into the kids. The truly care. The community we found could never be replaced.

Homework amounts arent overwhelming, but provide reinforcement of what was taught. In the high school level classes, course load is on par with what the public school assigns.
Posted: June 26, 2020
The teachers really love the students, have a great understanding of the subject matter, and work hard to ensure each student is mastering the material.
Posted: June 26, 2020

Administration is highly involved with the day to day happenings at the school. If there is an issue that arises, they are quick to address and take action with a biblical approach.
Posted: June 26, 2020
It has been our personal experience that this is so. Our son receives accommodations, and the teachers and staff really care about his education.
Posted: June 26, 2020
This type of behavior is not tolerated at all.
Posted: June 24, 2020
Teachers provide homework to refine skills and are available for questions remotely.
Posted: June 24, 2020
The teachers are incredible and really care about each child!
Posted: June 24, 2020
This is the most valuable trait about this school.
Posted: June 24, 2020
Leadership is invested in creating individuals who love learning and God.
Posted: June 24, 2020
People come to this school for this.
Posted: June 24, 2020
Bullying is not tolerated at this school.
Posted: June 24, 2020
I am amazed with what this school is doing for my children!
Posted: June 5, 2020
The first year was great. The second year was horrible. We couldn't wait for it to end so we could put our younger kids in the public school where our oldest child attends.
Posted: June 5, 2020
The school's approach to homework is extremely antiquated and out of date with standard modern educational practices. It relies heavily on worksheets and other similar outdated modes of education.
Posted: June 5, 2020
This is hit and miss. The first year our child was there, the teachers were AMAZING! I could not ask for better. In the second year, the teachers' apathy toward the student and parents was obvious. It seemed like they continually didn't want to be there.
Posted: June 5, 2020
As a Christian school, this is an area in which ACA really shines. It was what drew us to them in the first place.
Posted: June 5, 2020
I think the leadership of this school has great heart but is HEAVILY lacking in administration.
Posted: June 5, 2020
Posted: June 5, 2020
Our child was bullied most of their second year. We had quite a few meetings with teachers and administration. I will note that this only happened after I went over the teacher's head to her oversight (person over student affairs). After numerous emails and discussions with the teacher, nothing had been done to stop the bullying. This almost always happened on the playground (a VERY small area) where there were anywhere from 3-6 teachers watching. "Somehow" they were never able to catch these things happening.

The key for me is that this school is different. on purpose! We choose this school because you want something MORE! It is Kingdom minded, Holy Spirit led, future thinking, and strives for excellence. It's unique structure of learning and partnering parents, teachers, and students together draws out strengths like time management, complex thinking skills, relational development, and spiritual and academic excellence. I love that it pushes and challenges us to be more and do more and GROW!
Posted: February 19, 2020
This program is different than other "Typical" for a good reason! This school challenges students and Patents work together with the teachers for excellence!
Posted: February 19, 2020
These teachers truly love the students from a place of Christs love for the church. My daughters have all grown due to the teachers out of the box style of investing in them
Posted: February 19, 2020
THIS is why we choose ACA. Right here. The facilitation of character development and relationship with Christ is at the forefront of their mandate and it shows.
Posted: February 19, 2020
Last night at our "state of the school" forum leadership was vulnerable, transparent, and so genuine. It was so refreshing to know the leadership at this school wants the very best for our kids and our future despite many obstacles being thrown at them.
Posted: February 19, 2020
They have staff on campus to work with students who need it one-on-one
Posted: February 19, 2020
My daughters have walked through the sudden death of their grandmother, and sudden illness of two other family members and subsequent hardships and behavioral outbursts as a result of their grief and pain at ACA and were met with love and true discipleship from the teachers and staff and other families. I cannot tell you how many families came alongside us and worked through behaviors that at other schools would have been labeled as "bullying" and here at ACA they facilitated conversations and growth. They saw to the root of the issue and helped heal it thus ending the behavioral outbursts and bad behavior. My daughter was acting out due to pain and feeling overwhelmed, not because she is bad. This behavior has ended and she is friends with the students who she used to act out towards. My daughters feel safe and loved and well structured here. I cannot say enough good things, I could go on and on. Is it perfect no, but is anywhere?

The school has a lot of potential but sadly falls short. Gave it a fair shot, but between the poor leadership and the amount of unrelated work (both inside and outside) we had to leave.
Posted: July 12, 2019
Homework at ACA over 50% busy work. We felt the school was more interested in pushing kids through the program than actually giving them meaningful work to help them at home.
Posted: July 12, 2019
Most teachers are nice and kind. Unfortunately they do not have the ability to write their own lesson plans and actually teach. They are giving the lesson from (someone) above and have to follow it, even if it does not make sense. Several teachers actually express frustration to us over this point.

Posted: July 12, 2019
The leadership has no stability and no accountability. Constantly switching roles with a couple of them trying to rule the school. Get new leadership and get back to practice what you preach.
Posted: July 12, 2019
There is no chance that anyone that cannot keep with the ridiculous program the school implements. If your kid misses school, or does not get the concept, they will be leave behind. And the schools response to this is to sign up and pay for midweek "training" which is really just a study hall. They also like to toss apps at you to teach your kid (instead of join the job they are supposed to do).
Posted: July 12, 2019
Posted: May 14, 2019
They pride themselves on pushing students, but they don't help those that struggle.
Posted: May 14, 2019
No experience with the issue of student bullying. Just with the administration.
Posted: May 14, 2019
At first the school was a blessing. For 3 years, teachers were great, but year 4 was a different story. The teacher changes the way grades are given. Grading was subjective and rubrics were changed after the fact. Administration was unwilling to meet to address issues. Parents are required to attend secretive meetings, but results are never shared. Hired a third party group to study why people would leave the school, but when you do, there's little concern over it, but will treat your child differently upon knowledge of your not returning. In February, you are required to re-enroll or face new student registration fees.

Teachers/school is more concerned about quantity isn't of quality. 3rd grade math 40+ problems is excessive.
Posted: May 14, 2019
Now that child is learning the material outside of school, she wonders why her teacher isn't teaching it to her.
Posted: May 14, 2019
Compassion isn't demonstrated. It's a do as I say, not as I do lesson. Respect? Not if you're telling a child they are slow.
Posted: May 14, 2019
A little too pious. Will quote scripture to you about how you should be doing something, rather than make an honest effort to help. The well-being and what's best for the child isn't at the front.

I am a new eighth grade student at ACA and I want to say, it is the best school I have ever attended! Seeing all these negative reviews is heart-breaking! The teachers are all so sweet and they encourage me to grow academically and spiritually everyday! We pray before class and all of our work is developed to our learning level. I am part of the student leadership team also, and that is a very big part of who we are at Alliance Christian Academy. We are encouraged to go out of our comfort zone, but never forced. All of our classes are centered around the idea that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. I am not a staff kid and it is my first year, but I am treated just as equal as the rest. There are no friendships in this school, it is a great big happy family.

Run and Run away quickly. first of all if you child didn't start out at this school from pre-k they will be so lost and the faculty is unwilling to help. They aren't taught ANYTHING at school they just go over a few problems on every assignment with the teacher and its all up to the parents at home to teach the lessons and do 90% of what is should be done at school. They have no plans to grow what so ever. In a meeting at the beginning of the year they used being annexed as an excuse. it can take 10 or more years to annex an area if that is their excuse then they will never expand. my child has daily had to eat lunch on the ground for the money you pay you think that could get some lunch tables!!!!!! They used the excuse that its too hot to eat at the outside lunch tables, shouldn't this have been something you thought of before opening a school?? This school is ridiculous, you can find far better school to send your kids for the money that you would have spent here.

Our son has been a part of Alliance Christian Academy for two years now. The growth and change we have seen in him is amazing. I'm so thankful for the patient teachers and administration who make an effort to get to know each family. Our son has been challenged academically, loved unconditionally, and touched spiritually. I'm so glad we made the choice for him to attend Alliance Christian Academy.

This school has been wonderful for our older Academy kids and for our younger Little Sprouts. I love that all of our kids are on one campus and have the ability to flourish and be known for their uniqueness. Our entire family is supported by staff and other families as we partner together for our children to learn with high academic success from a Christian worldview.

I have two children beginning their third year at ACA. ACA and Little Sprouts Preschool have been a blessing to our family. I never knew it was possible to find the balance of homeschool and the loving classroom environment that ACA provides. My children are challenged academically but more importantly the love of Christ is poured into them by their teachers and the administration. I thank God daily for pointing our family to ACA.

I have 2 children, and this was our first year at ACA. My children and I love the school! The small student-teacher ratios, caring staff and comprehensive curriculum have really helped both of my children. I love that the administration is so involved. Daily chapel with the principal is a favorite with my children. My oldest is involved in the servant leadership program that is also co-sponsored by the principal. My children love their teachers and their classmates. Both of my children have improved by leaps and bounds since starting at ACA. I wish we had found this school sooner!

ACA is a loving and challenging environment. I have more than one kid here and am a so-called "outsider" and my family has been treated with nothing but respect. My kids ADORE their classmates (all of them) and their teachers. If you are looking for a challenging environment with a great balance of family time and Christian teachings, check out this school.

I could not agree more with the last reviews. The school is full of cliques, the students are snobby and if you are part of the staff you will be treated differently. Teachers kids receive special privileges and are highly favored. It seems to me that this is a group of friends who started a school and "outsiders" are treated as such. The staff is very unfriendly and cold. Problems are not addressed, but the fault always seems to be pushed back on the parents not doing enough. It would be better to just homeschool. The kids there have a better than you attitude and are constantly letting students know how smart they are. I do think that humility is a huge virtue. My child attended for several years and has actually digressed in their academics due to the teachers non caring attitude. I have been to every fundraiser , programs and have volunteered. On EVERY occasion, not one has greeted me or said hello. I finally gave up and stopped going. Please check this school put before you send your child there. If you do decide to go, be prepared for a long journey. For a Christian school they seemed to have forgotten that the greatest of these are LOVE!

My family paid and attended this school for one semester before I realized that they in no way practice what they preach. A Christian enviornment is not one of intollerance of others, judgement, and isolation. If you do not conform to their expectation of what a family should be, then the administrators snub their noses and you are shunned. Your child is not the focus of partnering in their education as a home-school environment, it is one of condemnation and dictatorship under the rule of their so-called "leader". My child now attends a true Christian/Home school that actually "Walks the Walk"--and he is thriving in every way!

We have decided to leave the school earlier this year. The stress level put on the kids is not worth it. While the kids do receive a good education academically, the sterile environment just really puts the kids under an unrealistic amount of stress. My one child did not have time for any extra activities. By seventh grade the work load is unbearable. The staff is not friendly, and you do not receive any encouragement. The kids are told not to go to their parents with complaints and to pray about their stress level. I feel the childhood years should be a happy, carefree time. If you feel the same this is not the school for you.

ACA is an excellent school and preschool! My four year is already learning Kindergarten curriculum and they are leaps and bounds ahead of area preschools. After touring schools for my Kindergartener I didn't feel at peace and almost gave up hope. When I toured at met with the directors at ACA one of the things that sold me was that they have the kids and teachers pray at the beginning of every class day. They also teach the kids that their school work is a form of worship to God. Since the kids attend three days a week they have the time to do Chapel and P.E. something another school told me that they simply didn't have time for. I know that my kids would not do well in a 2 day program where they are strapped to desks and rushed through their learning. I love the focus on the family and the ability to be able to spend more time with my kids at home and to be able to take them on family field trips.

Perfect blend of homeschool and classroom with Christ at the center. Love the time I get to teach my daughters.
