As a Math teacher at ILTexas, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to grow professionally and develop my skills as an educator. The school provides strong support for teachers and encourages continuous learning and leadership.
As a parent, I also appreciate how ILTexas helps students grow not only academically but also as individuals. My child has become more confident through leadership opportunities, sports, and character development programs. ILTexas creates a positive environment where both teachers and families feel supported. It is truly a great school community for both educators and parents.

I truly feel welcomed and valued on this campus. From the moment I arrived, I have experienced kindness, support, and a strong sense of community. Our students are respectful, eager to learn, and make teaching a rewarding experience each day. The administration is always supportive, present, and ready to help teachers succeed. I am grateful to be part of a school where both staff and students create such a positive and encouraging environment.

It is very hit or miss. Teachers are either the best you've ever met who love teaching and their students, or they are a teacher just to be employed. Overall our school provides more oppertunities for the future of students then any public school. It is very future orientated.

The admin cares a lot about getting every student the support they need to do well in classes as well as be prepared for college/the future. There's a world class jrotc program, fine arts programs, fccla, honor societies and core teachers push their students to do their absolute best on standardized test. "We are small but mighty"

I highly recommend ILTexas-KSHS to any student who is college bound. Students from this school have gone on to Brown University, Yale, Harvard, UChicago, St. John's, etc. The rigor, ASP (college advising), AP classes, SAT preparation and the leadership traits make this school stand out among other public and charter schools. The administration is fair and the discipline is handled in a way that supports learning for all students. There's no place else I'd rather my children attend High School. They are preparing students for exceptional leadership roles in the International community, they emphasize servant leadership with their moto "Others Before Self" and service projects. Students are learning Spanish and Mandarin Chinese as well as cultures from around the world and learning how to have a strong body, mind and character.

I am a current student from ILTexas. Being here has changed my life. After transferring from traditional public school, I have noticed an incredible change in my life and who I am. By offering after school help with homework and the opportunities that help us become leaders and grow up, it's helping us become future leaders. ILTexas also provides camps such as Ole Miss' chinese program, Taiwan culture immersion program and Washington DC Leadership Program. ILTexas provides a spirit where students take the lead, being able to provide the resources students need to be grat leaders and build the environment they would like. I am so grateful for ILTexas and all the opportunities and help it has provided me to become a leader.

I am a senior at ILTexas Keller - Saginaw High School who takes seven AP classes. While the academics has some smaller issues, as many other schools do, ILTexas has always offered an incredible amount of opportunities for students to succeed. Whether that be through a paid trip to the University of Mississippi for a full college course in Chinese to earn college credit, or the MCJROTC program, where you get the opportunity to grow as a young leader, ILTexas consistently provides FREE opportunities for students like me to go and learn through. Unlike traditional public schools, ILTexas as a public charter is allowed to have students wear uniforms and follow more strict rules. I look back at my development throughout the past 12 years of my life as a person and leader, and I would like to think that I have changed for the better. I truly can't thank ILTexas enough for the opportunities it provides and the academic challenge as well.

Poor. Once we transferred we found school is behind in comparison to Keller ISD. More than 40 families we know have pulled out after several years. We wish we had sooner. More smoke and screens than parents realize. So many teachers have pulled out their children from these schools.

Homework is just busy work. Not significant content.
Posted: October 13, 2018
Few experienced teachers. They are overwhelmed with their workload and others unprofessional and inappropriate.
Posted: October 13, 2018
Students have shared stories of not turning in work and still getting a 100.
Posted: October 13, 2018
Involvement from district leaves their hands tied. Because they need to keep attendance up students who should no longer be there are alllowed to stay and poor behavior tolerated.

Very poor. My daughter left to go to another school because this one was not rigorous enough. My son had recently been taken out because of continuous bullying with no results. Apparently the "zero tolerance" for bullying is not followed very well as it seems to be a big problem at the school.

This is my student's second year to attend and her 3rd year at ILT. We are MORE than pleased with the education she is receiving. She is very challenged and is currently taking college courses and will have 12 hours by the time she enters her junior year. The work is difficult, but I believe it is preparing her for college

Lack of leadership. Homework assigned over every break but they do not grade it for months so you don't know how you did. There is a disconnect between the staff and parents. The administration dent know what they are doing,

Unfortunately the administrative staff is very rude to parents and each other and the students witness this. The Principal allows this behavior.
