I'm just so disappointed. I enrolled my child here because I wanted high standards for academics and behavior in a safe environment, but the results have been so awful. Students are allowed to behave in bullying, disruptive, sexually harassing, and even violent ways with little to no consequences. We reported a bully targeting my child four times last year, and administration did nothing. Students are afraid to use the hallways between classes because there is so much pushing, hitting, rough-housing, and violence. Students are allowed to behave in sexually inappropriate ways to each other, including yelling obscene remarks and making obscene gestures, again with no consequences from administrators.
Teachers have little support from administration, and often seem exhausted and overworked. Test scores are dropping due to the frequent disruptive and inappropriate behavior. There are few clubs or activities that students can participate in.
I wish this school lived up to its promise of excellent classical education, but unfortunately, the leadership of the school is often incompetent and neglectful to the point of cruelty.

This review pertains to the grammar campus as that is the age my children are. I have heard mixed reviews about the upper campus.
I have more than one child and we were at the school for a long time, or at least longer than any of the teachers. I would prefer classical curriculum to the curriculum in the ISD. Unfortunately, this school has massive leadership issues that have been ongoing for years. The turnover amongst the staff is unlike anything I have ever seen. During the 2024-2025 school year, all but one grade had at least one teacher leave mid-year. This is not the first year this has happened! Last year, one first grade class went through four different teachers The majority of the teachers there are not certified. An "experienced" teacher there is in their third year.

I went on the tour and saw that the students were organized and well-behaved. The staff are friendly. The curriculum is challenging, which means kids really learn something and do not waste their time in school. No cell phone use is a plus; it's a good place to get kids out of their phones or pads and have face-to-face learning. Like the way they teach art and music to kinder kids.

We have been here for two years now and I feel like my kids are getting a great education. They love to read and often come home sharing things they learned that made them excited. The teachers are wonderful and seek to really care about teaching and my kids. It is a rigorous academic environment with homework and spelling words and reading assignments and sometimes I feel like they push the younger graders very hard but my kids have enjoyed it and learned a lot here so I guess the program is working.

I would not recommend this school. I would recommend other alternatives over this place.
